Splinterlands has gone on Twitter to announce the latest addition to the Riftwatchers airdrop card, the Ancient Redwood. It’s an Earth element legendary card that can be claimed through the website once 1M Rifwatcher gems have been sold.

If you want to know how to increase your chances of getting the Ancient Redwood, all Riftwatcher packs within the first 1M will have a 0.44% chance of receiving this card. For every 225 packs purchased, players will be guaranteed to receive at least one Ancient Redwood card.

Additionally, each Ancient Redwood card will have a 4% chance of being a gold foil version of the card. The excitement of Splinterland netizens is showcased in the announcement on both Twitter and Splintertalk

The Ancient Redwood

The Ancient Redwood is a legendary character within the lore. There are a lot of rumors about him but according to his lore, he was the only nut to fall from the elder tree with his name being lost to memory.

He’s an 11 Mana Earth Legendary card with a strong ranged attack that cannot miss called True Strike ability.

The Ancient Redwood has a reflection shield that protects him from reflected and indirect damage. He also has Fury which applies double damage against targets with taunt. If you manage to max him out, he gains piercing allowing his attacks to go through Armor.
