Axie Infinity's Frosty Fiesta Event

Axie Infinity's annual winter event, Frosty Fiesta, will be held from December 16 to December 29, 2024. Throughout this festive event, players can receive fantastic seasonal enhancements and greater payouts. It's the perfect way for the Lunacian community to round out the year, with enhanced missions, a holiday-themed App.axie, and modified Premier Bounty Board (PBB) criteria.

Players can gather, possess, and battle with Axies in the strategy card game Axie Infinity. To climb the Leaderboard, players may compete with other players in the Arena and fight deadly Chimeras in Adventure mode.This web3 game is free to download and play on Android, PC, and MacOS devices.

New players can start with three free non-NFT starter Axies. These Axies help players get familiar with the game without needing to make any purchases. The starter Axies are available as a way for new players to test out the game risk-free before diving in fully.

Doubled Rewards and New Leaderboard

The Frosty Fiesta event brings doubled rewards for players across several categories. Players can now earn more AXS for their participation. The rewards breakdown includes:

• Weekly Premier Bounty Board Awards: Up to 23K AXS instead of 11.5K AXS.
• Leaderboard Rewards: 3.1K AXS instead of 1.5K AXS.
• Master Quest Pool: Expanded from 2K AXS to 4K AXS, which means players can now earn 2 AXS per quest.

In addition, players who rank between 301st and 400th on the Leaderboard will now receive 1 AXS each. This change ensures more players can benefit from their hard work and efforts during the event.

Streamlined Access to Premier Bounty Board

Players now have quicker access to the Premier Bounty Board throughout this event thanks to Axie Infinity. There are now two simplified ways to gain entry:

• Redeeming Premier Tickets: After accumulating 1,000 Standard Bounty Points, players can obtain Premier Tickets. 
• Fortune Slips Requirement Lowered: Now that the Fortune Slips threshold has been reduced from 200 to 100, players can participate more readily. 

The Standard Bounty Board now contains a new coco-eating quest to help players acquire the 1,000 points needed to get access to Premier Ticket. Feeding coco to Axies now grants an extra 25 points, helping players progress faster.

Axie Infinity has updated several quests to make them more engaging and balanced. Some of the notable changes include:

• Increased Point Rewards: Quests like feeding regular Cocochoco to specific Axies, opening Lucky Pouches, and releasing Axies have seen their point rewards boosted.
• Requirement Adjustments: All players can now access some tasks more easily thanks to updated prerequisites or decreased rarity.
• Removed Quests: Some repetitive or difficult tasks, such as feeding large quantities of Cocochoco, have been removed from the event.

The players should also be conscious of the rule prohibiting juggling. Axies transferred between accounts will not earn points until the PBB resets, unless the Axie is sold outright. This rule ensures fairness and prevents exploitation.
