Wildcard Launches Community Rewards Program
Wildcard, the upcoming card-action game by Playful Studios, has just opened its Community Rewards Program. This program gives players a chance to earn exclusive in-game items and cosmetics before the game hits Steam in October 2025. Anyone can join. It’s free and active now.
The rewards system includes two types of quests: Single Player Quests and Community Quests. Each quest unlocks cosmetic items, currency, and skins that players can’t buy or get again in the future. Every reward is automatically delivered on Day 1 of Early Access.
The program officially started on July 24. But since the game hasn’t launched yet, new players still have time to jump in, sign up, and start collecting rewards.
Visit community.wildcardgame.com, register, and finish the onboarding procedure to get started. Connecting your Steam and Discord accounts is part of this. You will then receive a playtest key. Your ticket to enter the game and start fulfilling quests is that key.

What You Get from Single Player Quests
Single Player Quests go live one at a time. These are based on your own progress. You’ll unlock rewards by playing matches, winning games, using specific summons, and playing with friends. Here are some examples:
Source: X
- Get the title of "Fresh Faced Fighter" after playing one game.
- Get a personalized symbol by winning five games.
- Get an Alpha Banner by completing 50 games.
- Engage in 100 games with a companion: Obtain 1500 Fame, which is in-game money.
- Use the summons for 2500 Malus: Get the skin of Alpha Volcrab.
- Get the Alpha Locke skin by using a Chronos summon to win 100 games.
Finish every quest and you’ll unlock a special character skin that will never be sold or reissued.
Community Quests focus on everyone’s combined progress. These go live all at once, and every game played or wishlist added helps unlock more rewards for the whole community. Current goals include:
- Get the "Wishlist Worthy" title by unlocking 50,000 Steam wishlists.
- After 10,000 games, you'll receive the Wildcard icon.
- 100k wishlists will earn you a special banner.
- Get a new skin after playing 25,000 games with a friend.
- 200,000 wishlists: Get the skin of a hero.
- After playing 50,000 games with Ragna, you can get another unique item.

The 50,000 wishlist target has already been reached. The "Wishlist Worthy" title is now unlocked for all players.
To begin, you must complete three basic onboarding steps:
- Join the Wildcard Arena Discord server.
- Connect your Steam account.
- Wishlist Wildcard on Steam.
Once you finish those steps, you unlock the playtest key and gain access to the quest system. From there, you can track all your progress directly on the platform.
About Wildcard
Wildcard is a 2v2 collectible card action game, or CCAG. It’s made by the same creators behind Words With Friends. In Wildcard, players pick a Champion, build a deck of summon cards, and enter fast-paced real-time arena battles.
Matches combine card strategy with third-person action. You summon creatures, use abilities, and try to destroy the enemy base. No match plays out the same. Skill, timing, and smart deck choices all matter.
The game is free to play. There are no pay-to-win systems. Everything is earned through play.

Even though Wildcard is a web2 game at its core, it connects to a separate web3 layer through a companion platform called Thousands.
Thousands.tv is a streaming and rewards platform. Viewers and streamers can earn rewards by engaging, referring others, or competing. The platform tracks viewer actions live and gives out rewards in real time.
Streamers also earn when their content helps bring in new players. It’s built to support community, content, and growth.
In June 2025, Wildcard and Thousands raised $9 million in funding. Arbitrum Gaming Ventures and Paradigm led the round. The funds will help build more tools for streamers, scale the game, and grow the community.
Thousands earned $800,000 in May alone. The top stream brought in $134,000. This shows strong momentum for both the game and its streaming layer.
Currently, 30 contractors and 30 full-time devs are working on Wildcard. The game is scheduled to launch in October and has received Steam approval.
Recently, the Wildcard team asked streamers Jayden and xFSN_Saber to test the game live. Fast-paced fighting, astute team maneuvers, and tremendous replay value were all visible to viewers. Competitive gamers are already showing interest in the game.
These early appearances help build buzz and grow the creator community around Wildcard.
Wildcard isn’t just a game. It’s a platform built for players, friends, and creators. The Community Rewards Program adds more value for early players. You get rare cosmetics, early access, and a chance to be part of the launch story.
If you're into strategy, competition, or just want something new to play with friends—now's the time to dive in.
