Spellborne Season 2: Risk and Reward

With the release of Spellborne Season 2, Risk and Reward, Mon Studios' captivating massively multiplayer online role-playing game has exciting new developments. This new chapter builds on the popularity of Season 1: Higher Stakes by giving players a ton of new features and chances to interact with the game on a deeper level. This season marks a turning point in player ownership and competition in the web3 gaming environment with the advent of PvP Leagues, Achievements, and Professions. Players now have more chances to earn $BORNE tokens through their gameplay, purchases, and content creation.

Starting November 25th, Season 2 of Spellborne introduces several impactful updates. These are designed to further enhance player participation and increase their potential to earn $BORNE tokens, the game’s cross-chain crypto. With a truly player-driven experience, Spellborne is setting the standard for web3 gaming development. The game is now more accessible to a larger audience because players may now actively earn tokens through a range of in-game activities.

A highly anticipated feature of Season 2 is the revamped PvP system. The two league options that players can now choose from are Random (casual) and Badged (ranked). In these intense 1v1 battles, players compete to improve their ELO rating. This competitive structure allows players to challenge themselves while also providing rewards that include exclusive milestone prizes. For instance, innate-boosted monsters and a chance to qualify for "Super Tournaments" are some of the exciting rewards. This system is perfect for players looking for an extra layer of competitiveness and the thrill of ranking up.

The new Achievements system, currently in alpha, introduces special challenges inspired by nuzlocke runs, which add an extra layer of complexity and fun to the game. By completing these challenges, players unlock exclusive, non-tradable rewards. Because these achievements act as on-chain evidence of the player's accomplishments, they are considerably more satisfying. Players can now demonstrate their abilities and progress in a unique method, which makes them feel proud of their gameplay.

With the December release of the Professions feature, players will be able to learn a variety of talents, including farming, fishing, and mining. In addition to opening up new recipes and gameplay benefits, these professions will provide players the chance to further personalize their experience. By the time Open Markets start in late 2024 or early 2025, players will be able to trade things, skins, and monsters. A thriving in-game economy will result from this, as well as a whole new realm of player-to-player interactions.

In addition to the major updates, Season 2 will include several quality-of-life improvements. These include a new guild system, improved chat functionality, and expanded language support for players worldwide. By early 2025, Spellborne will also be available on mobile devices, allowing players to take the game wherever they go.

Earning $BORNE Tokens

Season 2 allocates 5% of $BORNE’s total supply for distribution among players. This allocation is divided into three main reward categories: Gameplay, Store, and Creator Rewards. This distribution encourages active participation from both regular players and content creators, ensuring that everyone has the chance to benefit.

Players can earn points in various ways. Competing in PvP Leagues, completing daily taskboard quests, and regularly logging in all contribute to earning rewards. Players who perform well in Badged Leagues will receive a higher share of rewards. Once Professions are introduced, taskboard objectives will shift, and players will earn profession EXP for completing these objectives.

Players can also earn points by purchasing in-game items such as season passes and chests. Gifting these items to other players adds to the points earned. Additionally, verified creators will receive 25% of the points spent by players who use their creator codes, which is a great incentive for content creators to promote the game.

Content creators have several ways to earn rewards. By posting on Twitter/X with the hashtag #SpellborneCreate or by streaming the game on platforms like Twitch and YouTube, creators can earn airdrop points. The most popular posts and streams can also yield additional rewards, including exclusive NFTs.
