Seed Prepares for Token Launch and Airdrop Deadline

Seed, a popular Telegram crypto game, is nearing the final stages of gameplay before its token launch. The game announced that all airdrop farming methods will end on January 15, giving players a final chance to maximize their token allocation. This announcement has created excitement among the community, as the token generation event is expected to follow soon after.

Seed leverages viral mechanics to attract players. These include referral schemes and in-game progression tied to completing social tasks. The game also features an animal collection element, which adds another layer of engagement. Players are motivated by the promise of a generous future token airdrop, which has significantly boosted Seed’s popularity.

The game's strategy has resulted in impressive social media metrics. Seed has amassed over 17 million Telegram channel subscribers, 2.5 million followers on X (formerly Twitter), and 2.72 million YouTube subscribers. To date, more than 60 million players have engaged with Seed’s Telegram game.

Token Supply and Final Tasks Announced

Ahead of its token launch on the layer-1 network Sui, Seed revealed that its token supply will be capped at 1 billion. The game also introduced five final tasks for players to complete before the airdrop farming deadline. Branded as the “final push,” this phase is expected to lead directly to the token generation event. Based on previous experiences with Telegram games, participants will likely receive their token allocation shortly after the launch.

Telegram airdrops have not always met player expectations. Hamster Kombat, a leading game in this niche, faced backlash when its airdrop delivered small allocations, often referred to as “dust.” Despite this, the game’s HMSTR token launch ranked as the fifth-largest in crypto gaming last year, while Notcoin (NOT) claimed the top spot as the first major Telegram game.

Seed’s team has taken steps to address concerns about post-airdrop engagement. In a December announcement, they revealed that 70% of the token supply would be allocated to the community. This includes the current airdrop and future initiatives. A detailed breakdown of these plans is expected soon.

Seed is already hinting at its next project, a new game called Seedmon. A YouTube trailer teases this evolution of the Telegram mini app, which appears to expand the animal collection mechanics into the real world, resembling Pokémon Go. This upcoming title has sparked anticipation, but players will need to wait for the token launch and airdrop to access the new game. No official release date has been announced yet.

Seed faces the challenge of maintaining player interest beyond the airdrop. The current strategy includes allocating a significant portion of the token supply to community-driven initiatives and introducing Seedmon to keep players engaged. With its massive player base and innovative mechanics, Seed has positioned itself as a standout in the Telegram crypto gaming space. The next steps, including the token launch and airdrop, will be crucial in determining its long-term success.
