The CEO of UNKJD, Tal Friedman, expressed excitement about the partnership and mentioned that it seeks to improve player experiences. Friedman also noted that Puma's participation gives the Web3 area a great deal more legitimacy. Puma is hardly the first company to enter the metaverse. Just three months ago, the brand launched Black Station, a 3D metaverse experience designed for product drops and exclusive access for Puma Pass NFT holders. This initiative marked Puma's efforts to provide an immersive digital environment where fans can engage with the brand in innovative ways. Integrating gaming with metaverse experiences continues to be a focus for Puma as it seeks to enhance its connection with consumers.

According to Ivan Dashkov, director of emerging marketing tech at Puma, forming partnerships within the gaming sector remains a top priority. He emphasized the brand's desire to interact with audiences in engaging and interactive digital spaces. Puma has a strong history in both gaming and soccer, making this partnership with UNKJD a natural fit for expanding its reach in the gaming world.

For play-to-earn games and mainstream crypto adoption, this partnership is considered a turning point. Friedman noted that Puma has the potential to introduce Web3 technologies to a broader audience. With 75,000 players already on board during its soft launch, UNKJD's full release is anticipated in early 2025.
