With a planned November 20 launch date, this 10-day Open Beta Test will concentrate on enhancing system stability and obtaining insightful player input to support the platform's impending formal launch.

In MapleStory Universe, blockchain technology plays a key role in enhancing the player experience. Special Events and Rewards in Open Beta

For the Open Beta launch, MapleStory Universe will host exclusive in-game events and offer unique reward opportunities to players. This includes in-game prizes and a special allocation of 5 million NXPC tokens specifically for the second Pioneer Test participants.

NXPC, the game’s utility token, powers in-game interactions and amplifies the overall user experience. This test phase features expanded events from the first Pioneer Test, which took place in July. Players can look forward to a range of engaging activities crafted to encourage participation and strengthen community bonds, such as:

• NXPC Events: Players can earn NXPC by completing achievements like daily logins and NFT trading. Genesis points, earned during the test period, will be exchangeable for NXPC once the game launches, according to specific terms.

• Pioneer Swag: Participants who finish certain surveys and quests unlock a one-of-a-kind, exclusive character outfit.

The first Pioneer Test, which ran from July 24 for ten days, drew in over 1,000 players and saw significant success, with high engagement and transaction activity. During the test, 92% of participants actively engaged with the platform, leading to an impressive 82% retention rate. Players accumulated over 45,000 hours of gameplay, averaging more than six hours per user daily. The in-game economy displayed its potential with 195,046 transactions, even in the absence of a premium cash shop, showcasing the stability of its blockchain-powered ecosystem.

NEXPACE is enthusiastic about the upcoming phase, as shared by Executive Director Sunyoung Hwang, who noted the success of the first test and the anticipation surrounding this new phase. This second test phase will incorporate feedback from initial participants and aim to refine critical elements of the MapleStory Universe experience, all in preparation for its official launch.
