Lost Relics Unveils Major Update: New Input System, Revamped Mechanics & More!

Lost Relics, the blockchain action RPG on Enjin, is receiving a major update that brings a new input system, revamped Health and Energy mechanics, stackable consumable items, and more.

The update addresses a long-standing issue with the game's controls. Previously, players were limited to a click-to-move system, but now they can use WASD controls for movement, while the mouse is used for attacks and camera rotation. The E key allows for item interaction. Controller support is still a work in progress.

Players who prefer the previous movement style have alternative options available. Additionally, the update introduces customizable key bindings for a personalized gaming experience.

The Health and Energy mechanics have been adjusted to provide a more balanced gameplay experience. Maximum health now increases as players level up, aligning with the Energy system. Energy requirements have been overhauled to create a seamless gameplay flow.

The power attack option has been removed, leaving players with a single attack option that can be chained together, consuming Energy. This change also allows for "move while attacking" combat with certain weapons. The triple shot arrows from bow power attacks will return in a future update.

Stackable consumable items have been introduced, providing players with more inventory space. Now, identical items can be stacked in a single slot, allowing for efficient item management during adventures.
