GAM3Rs Choice Awards: Which Games Took The Spotlight?

The event awarded the best games building in the past year, ranging rewards such as Best Game Trailer, Most Engaging Community, to the Best RPG Game and Best FPS Game of the year. • Star Atlas was awarded the Most Engaged Community award
• Polygon was recognized as the Gaming Blockchain of the Year. 
• The Sandbox was awarded the Metaverse of the Year 
• Illuvium was recognized for Best Game Lore. 
• Gods Unchained was awarded the Best Strategy Game
• Sorare took home the award for the Best Sports Game
• ev.io was simultaneously awarded both the Best FPS Game and Best eSports Game
• Blankos Block Party was awarded the Best Casual Game
• The Best Mobile Game award went to Guild of Guardians
• Shrapnel was awarded the Best Game Trailer

Awards were also given to Web3 gaming Content Creator Brycent for the Creator of the Year 2022. The event also recognized the best organizations and studios in the industry. Animoca Brands was awarded the Best Organization award, and Gala Games was named Studio of the Year.

Both of these organizations have done tremendously well this past year. Gala Games have acquired numerous web3 acquisitions while Animoca Brands has secured major funding with the aim to further web3 gaming mass adoption.
