What Are BOOM Bags?
BOOM Bags are ERC-1155 NFTs containing $BOOM tokens, the core currency in BoomLand’s gaming ecosystem. Season 1 distributed these tokens during the Play to Airdrop Event, with 250 million $BOOM tokens allocated across two seasons. Players can claim tokens during the Token Generation Event (TGE) or redeem them early to upgrade their Hunters.

If redeemed early, the tokens are off-chain. On-chain conversion will be available two months after TGE. BOOM Bags vary in size, holding 1,000 to 100,000 $BOOM tokens. Each bag has a Redeem Date, which determines how long tokens remain locked after TGE. In Season 1, bags had Month 0 and Month 1 Redeem Dates. Season 2 will introduce Month 1 and Month 2 options.
Players also have the option to trade BOOM Bags on the Sphere NFT marketplace instead of redeeming them.
Players can now redeem BOOM Bags through the in-game redemption feature. This option is found in the Shop Tab and is available for browser and iOS versions. Android players may need to wait for the update to start redeeming. Once redeemed, the $BOOM tokens are added as off-chain currency for upgrading Hunters.
Upgrading Hunters and Changes in Loot
The update allows players to upgrade Hunters in the Immutable version of the game. Upgrading enhances Hunter stats, energy limits, and earnings. Premium and Genesis Hunters receive an additional energy limit boost. Upgrading requires Hunter Shards and off-chain $BOOM tokens.

Season 2 introduces badges for owning and upgrading Hunters. These badges recognize milestones such as owning high-level Hunters or completing upgrades. Only upgrades made during Season 2 count toward these badges.
Hunter Shards now drop more frequently from free Silver Boxes. However, drop rates have decreased for other box types, like Gold and Magical Boxes. Quantities of Hunter Shards in premium boxes, including Legendary Royal and Ultra Royal Boxes, have increased. Co-op Tickets no longer drop from boxes and must be purchased using $BOOM tokens.
Certain game modes now have minimum Hunter level requirements. Players need a level 3 Hunter for Bounty Hunter, level 5 for Boss Hunt, and level 7 for Hardcore Hunt. These requirements encourage players to upgrade their Hunters to unlock new content.
The BOOM Bag redemption feature and the updates to Hunters On-Chain bring new opportunities for progression. Players can unlock game modes, earn badges, and enhance gameplay by upgrading Hunters. The focus on $BOOM tokens highlights their importance in the ecosystem.
New players can use guides to explore game modes, learn about NFTs, and understand strategies to maximize rewards while playing.
