Freya: The Starfall Open Beta Pre-Registration Now Live

Freya's pre-registration period: The open beta for Starfall is now formally available. Immutable Play is now offering free player registration. This allows players to receive early rewards before the PC and mobile launch of the web3 tactical role-playing game.

Freya: The Starfall brings strategy, squad building, and turn-based combat to a world of magic and sci-fi. The game already attracted attention during its closed beta. Now, with pre-registration active, players can prepare for what’s next.

What’s New in Freya: The Starfall Open Beta?

The open beta introduces many core features to the game. This includes the in-game economy, in-app purchases, talent trees, squad building, and the Fate-Weaver Gacha system. Turn-based PvP battles are also part of the experience, allowing players to test their skills against others.

Some details are still under wraps. The game’s handbook holds more info, but it hasn’t been fully updated in months. Even so, players can use the handbook as a guide for what to expect. The official wiki offers more details about talent trees.

The three components of Freya: The Starfall's talent trees are Mastery, Core Talents, and Keystone Talents. These talents help make each character, called Mercenaries, stronger as they level up. Players earn one talent point with every level gained. Talent points go into Core Talents first, each upgradeable up to five levels. For every 15 Core Talent points used, players unlock 5 points for Keystone Talents. Every 5 points spent on Keystone Talents unlocks a Mastery, granting stronger abilities.

Several talents are already visible for the Knight, Warrior, and Ranger classes on the wiki. Each one brings new ways to shape a squad’s strength and battle strategy.

Adventure Mode was the main focus of gamers throughout the closed beta. AI encounters were the driving force behind this roguelike PvE mode. PvP becomes the main focus for the open beta.

Rivalry of the Tides and Lord of the Seven Seas are the two primary PvP modes that will be available soon. Solo PvP is available in Lord of the Seven Seas. To demonstrate who has assembled the most formidable team, players compete. It is more time-based than Rivalry of the Tides. Participants are paired with other players who began playing at roughly the same time. Winning battles against these matched opponents is the aim in order to control territory.

While no exact beta duration has been confirmed, the official wiki lists June to July 2025 for the open beta window. Top participants received $100,000 in USDC awards during the two-week closed beta. Another Early Access release on Steam might occur in the near future. Freya: The Starfall's complete release is currently scheduled for Q3 2025.

Pre-registering for Freya: The Starfall is simple. Go to the game’s official page on Immutable Play. Start by completing tasks listed on the right side of the page. Completing the entire process earns you 100 Immutable Gems. If you don’t have an Immutable account yet, you can create one using your email or sign in with Google, Apple, or Facebook. The deadline for pre-registration is June 24, 00:00 UTC.

After logging in, follow the game by clicking the “Follow Now” button to earn 10 Gems. There are five more tasks to complete for the full reward. Three tasks involve following the game on X. One task requires joining the official Discord. The last step takes you to a Gleam page where you’ll complete several social actions and submit your wallet addresses. You’ll need both an EVM or Immutable Passport wallet and a Solana wallet to finish. Completing everything rewards you with 50 Gems.
