Datagram Launches Testnet Phase 2, Introducing Point Farming Ahead of Airdrop

A new promising project in the decentralized data space, Datagram, has just announced the second phase of its testnet. The second phase, which is aimed at scaling Datagram and driving deeper community participation, introduces points farming by providing unused capacity.

What is Datagram?

Datagram Network is a crypto project building a decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) that aims to redefine internet connectivity. Datagram Network Unveils Testnet Phase 2 – The Key To Its Airdrop

Building towards its launch, Datagram launched an incentivized testnet on June 11, 2025. After a successful phase 1, Datagram has now announced the beginning of phase 2. This is an important stage for those looking forward to the airdrop of the project. 

By connecting to the project's testnet and providing computing power, you earn points, which will determine how many $DGRAM tokens you receive in the airdrop. 

            Datagram Airdrop Principles

• Node Operation: The participants can gain airdrop points by running Datagram nodes. These nodes may be in an Alpha Testnet stage, which verifies report status and availability automatically numerous times daily, with verification success yielding a point. You get 1 point/minute and up to 1,440 points/day. 
• Referral System: Datagram has also adopted a referral system to promote organic growth of the network. Rewards are given to users who refer others who manage to both run a node successfully and have at least one successful check-in for a certain amount of time.
• Point-Based Allocation: The acquired airdrop points will be held till the proposed Token Generation Event (TGE) in Q3 2025 and converted accordingly to the $DGRAM tokens.

If you participated and earned points in Phase 1, you need to maintain 100 hours of uptime to claim those points. The points will then be added to your balance and you can keep accumulating more in Phase 2. 

How To Join the Datagram Incentivized Testnet

Even though you didn't take part in Phase 1, you may join Phase 2 and receive $DATA points. To get into Phase 2, follow the instructions below:

• Register: Visit the testnet portal and click on the register button via email.
• Install the Datagram App: Launch your app and sign in to the wallet. Install on PC.
• Start Earning Points: Log in to the app via the same email address supplied during the registration process. Once you launch the app, you will start earning points (the first points may not appear immediately). Try to keep the app running as often as possible to earn more points.
• Additional Interactions: Claim $DATA. To do this, click Claim and enter any three numbers. Test Datagram products: create a video chat with a friend and chat with AI:

When Will Tokens Be Distributed?

Although the Token Generation Event (TGE) has not been specified, the Datagram team has stated that token claims will follow soon after the termination of Phase 2, expected in late Q3 or early Q4 of 2025. The token will be a key part of the governance of the protocol, staking, and incentivization strategies for datagram creators and validators.
