The Rise of Wolf Game
Wolf Game launched in November 2021. The timing was perfect. The NFT and crypto markets were buzzing. In its first 24 hours, the game saw over 4,300 ETH in trading volume. It gained a lot of attention and quickly built a strong community. The rise in token and NFT values helped early users see big returns. These results turned many into loyal supporters. The game soon became a key name in the web3 gaming space.
Early in 2022, Wolf Game introduced Cave Game and other new features. This came during a market cool-down. Even as NFT and crypto prices dropped, the game kept its core fans engaged. Some called this period “Wolf Game Summer.” The team stayed active and kept building. That said, long-term engagement was hard to maintain. Like many projects in the bear market, the spark started to fade.
In 2023, PixelVault acquired Wolf Game. Gfunk, the head of PixelVault, took the lead. At the time, this looked like a chance to push the game further. In 2024, the team relaunched on the Blast chain and brought back Cave Game. The community saw a brief return of interest. But Blast didn’t grow fast enough to carry the project. Attention dropped again, leaving the relaunch short of its goals.

Solana Shift and Pushback
Wolf Game made fresh gameplay adjustments and unveiled a coin based on Solana at the beginning of 2025. Many of the early players weren't happy with this upgrade. The comments were quick and frequently unfavorable. Many thought the game's original spirit wasn't reflected in the current direction. In community talks, the phrase "FUD" began to surface more frequently. It was obvious that a change was required.
The Solana version was put on hold until April. The group withdrew their liquidity. Shortly thereafter, Gfunk resigned. His departure paved the way for Seedphrase to assume leadership. This signaled yet another significant change in Wolf Game's plot.

Now, Wolf Game is set to relaunch again—this time on Abstract. The platform has a strong reputation in blockchain-based gaming. It supports games with token systems and casino-style features. This could be the right space for Wolf Game’s next version. But so far, not much has been shared about the relaunch. The community is waiting to see if it will follow the older playbook or try something new.
There are also questions about NFTs. A new collection might launch. Longtime holders want to know if their early support will still hold value. How Seedphrase handles this could shape the project’s next phase.
Final Thoughts
The move to Abstract is a big moment. Wolf Game has a chance to reset. It can reconnect with players who were there from the start. Still, that trust isn’t guaranteed. The community wants clear communication, smart design choices, and a return to what made the game fun. If the new team delivers, Wolf Game could find new life. If not, it risks being just another chapter in a long, winding journey.
