Sky Mavis Announces Workforce Reduction

The Ronin Network and the NFT game Axie Infinity's development team, Sky Mavis, just announced large layoffs, cutting its personnel by 21%. On Nov. 23, co-founder Nguyen Thanh Trung tweeted this update, making it clear that financial difficulties were not the reason for the decision.

In order to position the business for hypergrowth in 2025 and beyond, Trung underlined that this action is a component of a strategy change. The choice is a reflection of the need to sharpen the firm's focus and match its resources with important initiatives. Enhancing the Mavis marketplace, the Ronin wallet, and its main product, Axie Infinity, has been a top priority for Sky Mavis.
