The Ronin Forge program has officially opened its doors to a new wave of builders. In June, we invited studios to apply for Ronin Forge — a platform where teams can create and develop games on the Ronin blockchain. Today, we’re excited to introduce seven new studios that have joined the movement. These studios are crafting games that will push the boundaries of Web3 gaming, each bringing their own unique style and mechanics.

Cambria: A New Take on Classic MMO Gaming

Cambria is inspired by the iconic MMORPG, Runescape. It features two distinct games: Gold Rush and Dual Arena. Dual Arena is a player-versus-player (PvP) game where players duel for onchain rewards, with the winner taking everything. On the other hand, Gold Rush is a more extensive MMORPG experience. With its quests, crafting, and battle, Gold Rush offers engrossing gameplay that immerses players in a more profound journey. To gain early access to the Gold Rush Alpha and see what this game has in store, register now.

Pixel Heroes Adventure: A Mobile MMORPG Coming Soon

For mobile platforms, Pixel Heroes Adventure is an MMORPG with pixelated graphics. It is expected to be available on iOS and Android before the year ends. This game allows players to trade in-game commodities, gather wealth, and fight bosses. For those who can’t wait, Pixel Heroes already offers a fun mini-game called Tap Adventure, live now on Telegram. The game has engaging mechanics and vibrant pixel art, bringing back nostalgia while introducing Web3 elements to mobile gaming.

Kuroro Wilds: A Multi-Game Ecosystem

Kuroro Wilds is part of a larger ecosystem that includes three games: Kuroro Ranch, Kuroro Beasts Brawl, and Kuroro Wilds itself. Kuroro Ranch is a Telegram-based pet simulation game, where players care for their virtual pets. Similar to the well-known game Axie Infinity, players engage in strategic battles with their animals in Kuroro Beasts Brawl, a browser-based PvP game. Finally, Kuroro Wilds is a real-time role-playing game that lets users explore, gather, and fight like in the original Pokémon games. With its multi-layered gameplay, Kuroro Wilds promises an engaging experience for all types of players.

Party Icons: A Battle Royale with a Twist

Party Icons introduces an exciting third-person Battle Royale shooter with unique maps and PvP battles. Players can trade treasures in the game thanks to Web3 mechanics, which ups the level of competition. The group intends to increase the number of party games available and put a major emphasis on user-generated content (UGC), which will strengthen player ownership and community inside the game's ecosystem. Party Icons is more than simply a game; it's about joining a movement that enables users to advance through the game.

Xtremeverse: Anime-Inspired Battle Royale

Battle Xtreme (BTX) is the first game in Glip's anime-themed gaming universe, Xtremeverse. Like Fortnite or PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, BTX is a classic third-person shooter where players drop into maps and engage in PvP warfare. The game is already live, offering Web3 elements like $XTREME staking, daily rewards, and an upcoming Play-to-Airdrop campaign. The anime-inspired visuals and intense combat make Xtremeverse stand out in the Web3 gaming landscape.

Last Odyssey: A Web3 Kingdom Strategy Game

Last Odyssey brings real-time strategy to Web3, inspired by games like Rise of Kingdoms. Players build kingdoms, battle against others, and stake their resources to strengthen their armies. The game offers a rich simulation experience with real-time action, where strategy and resource management are key. With its open beta set to launch before the year ends, Last Odyssey is gearing up to become a major player in the Web3 strategy game genre.

Infomon: A Social Media Companion Game

Infomon blends gaming with social media in a unique way. It’s a Pokémon-style blockchain game that integrates directly with X (formerly Twitter). Players capture and raise AI-powered creatures called Infomons. These creatures help users sift through social media content, picking out valuable information and rewards. Infomon is more than just a game; it’s a tool to help players navigate the chaotic world of social media while enjoying the fun aspects of gaming.

The Future of Gaming on Ronin

The addition of these seven studios to the Ronin Forge program marks a significant step forward for the Ronin ecosystem. Every studio approaches gaming differently, utilizing blockchain technology to craft rewarding and engaging experiences. There is a game here for every kind of player, whether they enjoy strategy games, role-playing games, or PvP fights. With these new builders paving the way for a new era of gaming, the Ronin movement is just growing. Let’s keep pushing forward and building the future together.
