OverKnights Introduces Genesis Pilot NFTs
Using the Sequence platform and Immutable, Obitus Games has released the Genesis Pilot NFT collection for the free-to-play card battler OverKnights. Beyond just digital images, these NFTs are more. They provide in-game advantages as well as larger ecological rewards. Despite the fact that the official mint date has not yet been disclosed, players still have time to sign up for the whitelist and get one of these restricted.
OverKnights is an example of a tactical card game. OverKnight characters can be created and altered by players using a variety of parts and skills. Time and strategy form the basis of a deck. The gameplay incorporates elements of fighting games. Counters, combinations, and flexibility are covered here.
New cards, parts, and objects are unlocked through winning battles. In the game, NFTs will be added to symbolize particular in-game goods. These NFTs will be gamers' property. This gives accomplishments and progress greater significance. Animated profile photo NFTs are part of the Genesis Pilot collection. In the web3 ecology of the game, they serve as entry points to more complex features.
You can use the Genesis Pilot NFTs to unlock additional features inside and outside the game. Being in possession of one gives you access to unique benefits. The biggest advantage is having access to an airdrop of tokens. Obitus Games has set aside 0.5% of the total number of tokens in the game for NFT holders.

The number of tokens a player receives is determined by two criteria. First, the rarity of the NFT. The second is how long the gamer has held onto it. Holding longer and having rarer NFTs leads to a larger airdrop. Bonus multipliers will also be given to NFT holders in a future play-to-airdrop event. These multipliers boost the number of tokens acquired by matching.
A unique in-game profile picture, a unique title, and ongoing access to the battle pass are extra advantages. Players must, however, possess the NFT in order to maintain these benefits. When it is sold or transferred, access is lost. Each NFT also comes with a Founder Pack. This includes skins, consumables, and rare items. Again, rarity plays a role in the player's choice of items. These initial advantages promote continued play and involvement in the game's community.
Through community efforts, players can still get added to the whitelist. This covers Discord raffles, social challenges, and tournaments. On July 14, a previous Play-to-Whitelist campaign came to an end. Only community and social involvement will now guarantee a place.
A Common-tier NFT is guaranteed by one whitelist position. Rarer NFTs can be minted by players who accumulate more places. There are two slots available for a Rare NFT. One berth is guaranteed for five. Fifteen ensures a Mythical NFT, whereas ten may unlock one. Each wallet can only mint one NFT, regardless of how many spots a player accumulates. Active and devoted gamers are rewarded with increased chances at uncommon NFTs under this method.

Legendary NFT Raffle and Upcoming Tournament
Another bonus is available from Obitus Games. Six Legendary Genesis Pilot NFTs are up for grabs in this raffle. Each whitelist place is equivalent to one raffle entry. There are additional entries at higher tiers. Six entries are awarded to a player who has five whitelist spots. 15 is given to those at the Mythical tier.
Additionally, the squad is hosting a competition from July 18 to July 22. This event offers the chance to earn a Legendary whitelist place. Both USDC incentives and in-game prizes are accessible. In order to play, players must register. All details about the tournament will be made public as the start date draws near.
Players can get a head start on OverKnights by downloading the open alpha from the Epic Games Store. More information regarding the Genesis Pilot NFT collection can be found by replaying the July 15 X Space. During the discussion, CEO and Game Director Luis Correa de León provided more information regarding the collection and future goals.
Final Thoughts
The Genesis Pilot NFTs add real value to the OverKnights experience. They mix cosmetic appeal with solid in-game rewards. From token drops to battle pass access and exclusive content, these NFTs support early player investment. There’s still time to join the whitelist and be part of the game’s early web3 community. For those interested in both gaming and crypto, this is a strong chance to get involved early.
