Offers on the Immutable X Protocol are now Live

The ImmutableX protocol now officially supports offers, enabling NFT buyers to submit an offer for an asset and sellers to accept the buyer’s suggested price. This launch is the following stage in Immutable X’s strategy to increase liquidity across all platforms.

Buyers will be able to submit offers that are less than the asking price thanks to the implementation of the Offers on the Immutable X protocol, sellers will be able to accept those offers, and the ecosystem as a whole will see an increase in trading activity. The Immutable X protocol marketplaces will all have access to this functionality. 

This launch affects marketplaces, gamers, and traders alike. Offers encourage more in-game asset trade, which increases royalty payments paid and user base.

The introduction of offers allows for:

• Rapid price discovery
• Sellers to find an instant price to sell at
• A seamless experience for both buyers & sellers

How It Works

On the marketplace, users will be able to view bids for specific items. If they wish to submit an offer, they may do so by clicking the “Submit an offer” button.

Offers are presently in beta, so the following limitations are in effect:

• Limited to specific marketplaces
• Only applied to listed assets
• Limited to within 10% of asking price
• Only allowed in the listed currency
• Rate Limited
• No seller marketplace fees
