Lamborghini’s First Metaverse Car Drop

Lamborghini just entered the metaverse for the first time. The brand partnered with Wilder World to launch 600 limited-edition digital cars. These include the Temerario and the track-ready Temerario GT3. This marks the first time Lamborghini released a real-world car and its digital twin at the same time. It’s a big step for both motorsports and web3.

On July 11, the physical Temerario GT3 will debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. On that same day, digital versions of both the standard and GT3 models will go live in Wilder World. These aren’t just for show. People can race, drive, and show them off across different web3 games. The digital cars are onchain and come with real functionality.

Out of 600 NFTs, only ten are ultra-rare GT3 editions. They are built to work in many different games using Motorverse’s Universal Digital Assets system. That means owners can take their cars with them into titles like REVV Racing and Torque Drift 2. These NFTs aren’t locked to just one platform.

Digital Ownership With Real Use

These NFTs do more than sit in a wallet. Owners can race their cars inside Wilder World’s gameplay. There’s a racing mode and an open-world mode. Plus, Lamborghini built a digital space called Fast ForWorld where users can explore car history, join special events, and join new drops. The NFTs also work in other web3 games powered by Motorverse.

Fast ForWorld will eventually become part of Wiami, Wilder World’s digital city. Lamborghini plans to build a virtual showroom inside the city. It will feature rotating car displays, brand stories, and new NFT releases. This adds another way to bring digital car culture to life.

Lamborghini is rolling out the NFTs in two phases. The first is a private allowlist sale on July 11 at 8 AM PT. It’s on OpenSea. Only holders of Wilder Wheels NFTs can join. They can buy up to two cars for $300 each, paid in ETH. This sale will only last three hours. Out of 600 cars, 500 are reserved for this private sale.

The public sale happens later that day at 11 AM PT. It will take place on the Fast ForWorld marketplace. Buyers can use fiat to purchase one of the remaining 100 cars. Each wallet can mint up to three NFTs. All NFTs will be revealed 24 hours after the last one is sold.

Wilder World: The Metaverse Behind the Drop

Wilder World is the platform where these digital cars will live. It’s known for photo-realistic visuals and true ownership of digital assets. The platform first launched in 2021 with Wilder Wheels. Since then, it’s grown into a full car-focused metaverse. It includes real driving physics, onchain systems, and support from major web3 brands.

Lamborghini is now the first global carmaker to release a car in both real life and the metaverse at the same time. Choosing Wilder World as its partner was a clear move. It sets the foundation for more digital car projects in the future.

Fast ForWorld is Lamborghini’s official metaverse space. It offers more than just a virtual garage. Fans can explore the showroom, join events, and interact with Lamborghini in new ways. It’s a new way to connect with the brand through racing and ownership.

Christian Mastro, Lamborghini’s Marketing Director, shared the vision clearly. He said Fast ForWorld allows people to experience Lamborghini beyond the road. The platform lets owners use their NFTs, not just hold them. It’s about blending design, speed, and innovation inside a new kind of world.

Three major names worked on this launch. Lamborghini, Animoca Brands, and Gravitaslabs. Animoca is powering the cross-game car system through its Motorverse platform. Gravitaslabs handled the design and build of Fast ForWorld. Their efforts made the Lamborghini metaverse experience interactive and exciting.

This drop is just the start. These groups are building a future where car culture lives in both the physical and digital world. Lamborghini is not just testing an idea. They are pushing into a new lane.

This launch adds another layer to Lamborghini’s digital growth. The brand is mixing racing with fashion, events, and metaverse features. With the new showroom in Wiami, players can explore, race, and collect.

Each NFT offers more than ownership. It offers interaction. Owners can join events, play games, and be part of a growing digital community. Lamborghini’s entry into Wilder World sets a new standard for what’s possible in web3 and car culture.
