Illuvium: Overworld's Private Beta 2 Introduces New Movement Mechanics

Illuvium: Overworld, the open world RPG from Illuvium, is about to receive a major upgrade in the form of Private Beta 2. 

The beta will introduce new regions to explore and improve movement mechanics, promising players a smoother and more immersive exploration experience.

Illuvium: Overworld Open Beta initially introduced players to the vast and epic open-world potential of the Illuvium Universe. Alongside the Arena's creature-capturing mini-game, players could explore areas by flying, leaping, and jumping while avoiding harmful substances on alien planets.

The Illuvium team takes the exploration features to a whole new level with the introduction of gliding, sliding, and the bubble movement mechanic as showcased in the gameplay teaser. The trailer showcases new variations of landscapes, such as a downward hill, which is why new variations of movement are being introduced to efficiently cover ground in new locations.

Overworld’s introduction was well-received by the web3 gaming community and it has quickly become one of the most anticipated gaming projects in NFT gaming. Illuvium has a large fan base with over 200K Discord members and more than 350K Twitter followers.

After the release of Overworld and Beyond, Illuvium token price increased for up to $90 which is roughly a 125% increase compared to its value at the end of 2022.

Aside from the recently announced mechanics, not much has been revealed on Private Beta 2. Nor has there been a release date for its launch, but fans are still eagerly anticipating its arrival.
