BloodLoop Season 2 Launches with New Rewards

Ragnarok Games has released Season 2 of BloodLoop, giving players a chance to compete in six weekly events. Each week comes with a $1,000 prize pool, where the top 10 participants share the rewards. Players gain points through crafting, refining, and competing in different game modes. The season runs until mid-September, giving plenty of opportunities to earn prizes and enjoy fast-paced competition.

BloodLoop is a free-to-play, third-person hero shooter. The game is backed by Avalanche and Beam, which was formerly known as Merit Circle. Players can choose a hero from one of four factions, each with unique skills. The game offers three main modes: Energy War, Team Deathmatch, and Free for All.

Energy War is a tactical 5v5 mode where teams battle for control over Exotic Matter nodes. Controlling these nodes drains resources from the opposing team. Team Deathmatch puts two teams against each other in a race to score kills within a set time. Free for All is a 10-player mode where individual skills matter most. Each mode brings a different challenge, keeping gameplay fresh and engaging.

BloodLoop entered early access on June 23, 2025. The launch came with a $15,000 airdrop event, drawing early attention to the game. In March 2024, Ragnarok Games raised $4 million in seed funding to support development. The game is available for free on the Epic Games Store. Players can try the PvP-focused gameplay without cost. However, a Season Pass is required to take part in the play-to-earn events.

A Fresh Prize Structure for Season 2

Season 2 introduces a weekly competition system. This changes the format from the first season, which only used one cumulative leaderboard. Each week now has its own $1,000 prize pool. In total, the season offers $6,000 in token rewards. Rewards are given to the top 10 players based on their points and placement.

Players can earn points in two ways. Weekdays are focused on crafting and refining, while weekends are dedicated to game modes. Crafting and refining provide steady progress, while game modes test player skill under pressure. This balance makes every part of the week matter.

Another addition for Season 2 is XP Boosters. These boosters can be purchased with $BLS tokens and increase the rewards gained during matches or time periods. This allows players to maximize their efforts during the events.

According to updates on the official Discord, the Season 2 events started on August 13 and will end in the third week of September. After the season, Ragnarok Games plans to return to a standard seasonal format. Patch 0.7.0 is expected to release during the Tokyo Game Show later this year, bringing more updates to gameplay and features.

To join the play-to-earn competitions, players need to purchase a $5 Season Pass using $BLS tokens. BloodLoop runs on Avalanche’s Layer 1 network. When players create an account, the game automatically generates an in-game wallet. $BLS tokens must be deposited into this wallet to buy the Season Pass.

Deposits and withdrawals between the in-game wallet and a C-Chain wallet are managed through the dashboard. This makes it possible for players to handle their tokens directly without leaving the game environment.

Once players have the Season Pass, they can start earning points. The events are divided into two phases. The first phase is Crafting & Refining, while the second focuses on Game Mode participation.

Crafting lets players create NFTs using Blueprints, Materials, and Crafting Tokens. Each successful craft provides leaderboard points. Refining turns Shards into Materials, which also adds points. These weekday activities reward preparation and strategy.

On weekends, players earn points by winning matches in Energy War, Team Deathmatch, or Free for All. These matches highlight skill, teamwork, and adaptability. By combining weekday crafting with weekend gameplay, players can build a strong position on the leaderboard.

At the end of each week, the top-ranking players share the $1,000 prize pool in $BLS tokens. Since there are six weekly competitions, there are six chances to win. This creates constant excitement and motivation to return each week.

BloodLoop Season 2 mixes crafting, refining, and PvP gameplay into one rewarding experience. The structure gives casual players and dedicated competitors alike the chance to participate. With $BLS tokens, NFTs, and new gameplay features, BloodLoop continues to expand its place in the gaming and crypto space.
