Avalanche Battle Pass Season 2 Is Live

For the next thirty days, Avalanche Battle Pass Season 2 will be available. Now, players are able to participate in a $25,000 prize pool tournament, finish quests, and get special in-game goodies. Compared to the first season, this one operates differently. Magic Eden doesn't require any minting. To get the Basic Pass for free, all you have to do is go to Playfull.com and register.

Players' ability to track missions, accrue points, and select rewards has been significantly improved in the second season. Additionally, Playfull has improved mission diversity, reward tracking, and user flow.

Make an account on Playfull and link your MetaMask wallet in order to participate in Season 2. By taking this step, the platform can track your progress and provide you with the appropriate rewards. It's also advised to connect your Twitter, Discord, Steam, and Epic Games accounts. Verified accounts are needed to finish some assignments.

You will immediately receive the free Basic Pass after setting up. You can then level up by finishing missions. These consist of social chores as well as gaming challenges. For 0.5 AVAX or $10, you can purchase a Premium Pass to receive additional benefits. Players with the Basic Pass cannot access the second row of awards that are available to those with the Premium Pass.

The basic guidelines for the Battle Pass remain the same: complete missions, gain experience, and unlock goodies.

Popular games including Spellborne, DeFi Kingdoms, Fundora, Rumble Arcade, and Off The Grid are returning in Season 2. Black Hole DEX, BloodLoop, and Super Champs are among the new games added to the roster. Players now have more options for earning points as a result.

Snowflakes or Playpoints are awarded for completing missions. Playfull's primary currency is Playpoints. Snowflakes serve as raffle tickets for the season's final prize fund.

Snowflakes and the $25,000 Prize Pool

This season, snowflakes are back with greater significance. They are obtained by completing specific pass levels and special objectives. Every Snowflake represents one chance to enter the over $25,000 end-of-season raffle.

AVAX tokens, rare collectibles, and even actual Pokémon cards via BOXED TCG are among the rewards. Your odds of winning in the final draw increase as you gather more Snowflakes.

A new Salvage system is introduced in Season 2. When you unlock a pass level, you can use this function to decide whether to collect or salvage a prize for Playpoints. In this manner, you can continue to advance while avoiding things you don't desire.

The Salvage mechanism gives players more freedom and enables them to concentrate on the things that are most important to them. The revised AVAX Shop then allows the use of stacked playpoints.

There are now more products and improved functionality in the AVAX Shop. Players can purchase uncommon skins, in-game NFTs, and Premium Pass upgrades for Playpoints or Snowflakes.

The Premium Pass, BP Boosts, and NFTs such the Luxury Cape, Token Tiara, and Totem-Mask are among the available products. At 50 Snowflakes, BP Boosts are reasonably priced. But because exclusive NFTs start at 2,400 Playpoints, it's important to save up for them.

Season 2 has a much easier sign-in process. The new “Sign in with Playfull” feature allows players to link accounts and wallets in one step. This replaces the slower method from Season 1.

The updated user interface also makes navigation simpler. Players can now check mission progress, rewards, and tabs like Missions, Shop, and Leaderboard without confusion.

Missions fall into two groups: Game and Social.

Game missions include tasks like downloading and playing Off The Grid or connecting with games such as Fundora and DeFi Kingdoms. These missions usually give larger Battle Points.

Social missions ask players to do things like join a Discord server, follow a Twitter account, or watch a video. They give fewer points but are fast and easy to complete, helping players level up quickly.

To level up faster, players can buy the Premium Pass or use BP Boosts. The Premium Pass adds a full extra row of rewards with better items. BP Boosts let players skip ahead in their level progression.

Boosts are available in the shop for 50 Snowflakes, making them an effective way to move through the pass without heavy grinding.

Season Timeline and Prizes

Season 2 runs for 30 days starting August 20. Players have this time to complete missions, collect Snowflakes, and spend Playpoints. At the end of the timer, the raffle will take place.

Season 1 of Avalanche Battle Pass launched in June. Players had to mint a free NFT on Magic Eden to get started. Rewards included AVAX tokens and NFTs from Avalanche games.

Season 2 removes the minting step and replaces it with instant access through Playfull. This change lowers the barrier for new players and makes it easier to get started.

Players from Season 1 can continue with their existing Playfull account to join Season 2. Simply log in, connect your wallet, and start completing missions.
