Aradena and Immutable X Join Forces with $1.5 Million Funding, Strategic Partnerships

Aradena, a leading web3 company, has announced a new partnership with ImmutableX, a blockchain platform that enables digital ownership and trading of in-game assets. This partnership comes on the heels of Aradena raising $1.5 million in funding led by Animoca Brands, and forming a co-development partnership with Blowfish Studios, an award-winning game studio for over 15 years.

Aradena's first title, Aradena: Battlegrounds, is already making waves within the industry with its blend of tactical trading card gameplay and 3D Hex battler visuals. The game aims to revolutionize competitive strategy gaming with a fresh take on gameplay that creates a more immersive and strategic player experience.

The partnership aims to provide Aradena with the infrastructure and support to scale its NFT game.  Immutable X provides easy web3 onboarding for traditional gamers with its easy-to-use interface, further developing mass adoption for web3 games throughout the gaming industry.

Most importantly, players will be empowered with full digital ownership of all in-game assets and fully carbon-neutral NFTs, which can be traded gas-free at speeds of 9,000 transactions per second. This digital ownership will allow players to trade and monetize their in-game assets, creating a sustainable game economy that gives back to players.

Aradena: Battlegrounds is a turn-based blockchain strategy game where users can build and train their army to battle against other players using NFT cards. These cards are available in card packs that will go on sale on February 2023, giving owners private benefits such as early access and a chance to get rare units.

For those looking to jump into the Aradena universe, the game's online alpha build was completed in December 2022, marking the beginning of scaled user testing and the first Aradena NFT holder play testing. Aradena plans to launch Closed Beta at the end of Q1 2023, and Open Beta at the end of Q2 2023.
