Brand New Season for Berserk with Additional Game Features and Improvements

Berserk is a free-to-play trading card game developed by Vulcan Forged. In the game, players battle it out using their constructed decks composed of 30 selected cards from their respective collections. Each card in the game has unique spells and abilities that makes the mechanics and meta of the game deeper and more interesting.

Berserk Season 3

In the upcoming season 3 of Berserk, existing Vulcanities will be introduced as playable heroes. Also, a new card set called New Beginnings will be released and the card set will consist of 24 unique cards. 

During the course of season 3, players can use all of the cards in the New Beginnings set for their deck building and battling activities but these cards will be locked out once the season 3 has concluded. After the season, the cards in the set can only be obtained through minting.

Alongside the release of season 3, the team also announced the launching of Berserk subscription pass that can be bought through the Vulcan Vault. The pass gives players access to curated NFT cards, experience boosts, exclusive cosmetics, and other benefits that will be revealed by the team later on.

Season 3 Prize Structure

Season 3 will be launched alongside a new seasonal dynamic prize pool system. This new system scales the prizes according to the number of active players within the season.

The prize pool will start at $50,000 and upon reaching 2,000 active players and more than 80,000 games played, the prize pool of $75,000 will be unlocked for the seasonal rewards. The same thing will happen upon reaching 6,000 active players with a $100,000 prize pool to be unlocked.

Gameplay Updates

Some in-game updates include card draw changes such that players will now draw one card per turn while increasing the amount of drawn cards per turn up to two cards upon reaching Turn 7. With regards to ranking, the Starter and Mythic Leagues have been combined for the season.

As the new season begins, players can now compete without having any $LAVA token earning limit. The experience gain rate will also change by letting players gain 100 experience points on winning 10 battles per day.
