Yuga Labs Launches Otherside’s Legends of the Mara NFT Game

Yuga Lab’s Othersde unveils a new collection-based 2D strategy game called Legends of the Mara. Continuing the events from the Otherside Second Trip, the game puts players on a new adventure. What can players expect from this new title?

Legends of the Mara is a game that revolves around the Kodas, the primary keepers of Otherside.  Once players will be able to claim their free Vessel and with Kodas, they’ll be able to jumpstart their experience.

The game is designed to be a collection-based strategy game, where players can claim their Vessel and discover its potential. Players in this game will learn more about Kodas, including their origins and primal relationship with Otherside. They will also encounter some new apprentices in the form of the Mara and learn more about the story of Otherside throughout LOTM.

Vessels can grow into apprentices known as Mara, and under the right conditions with the right catalyst, can evolve into more skilled Kodamara. Both are capable helpers in the fight to defend Otherside, though their powers are greatly constrained when compared to the ancient Koda.

There are introduced three types of vessels: Enchanters, Farmers, and Hunters. 

Although a date hasn’t been released, players will be able to claim their free Vessel soon and all you have to do is to be an Otherdeed holder. In May, the challenge will start to begin.
