Wildcard has introduced the $WC token, marking a major step in the expansion of its web3 gaming ecosystem. A snapshot taken on March 10 determines eligibility for the initial airdrop. The total supply is 88,888,888 tokens, with 17.8 million—equivalent to 20%—allocated for the first distribution.

Unlike many token launches, 100% of the $WC supply is for the community. The staff, investors, founders, and advisers do not have any allocations. The ERC-20 token is constructed on the Ethereum blockchain, and in order to maintain openness, its contract address is made public.

Other factors such as Wildpass ownership, leaderboard rankings, and participation in Wildfile events were also considered.
