Treasure (Magic) Ecosystem’s Games is a platform aimed at assisting creators and builders in realizing their metaverse initiatives. Treasure aspires to transform the game development scene through the usage of Web3 by supporting decentralization and grassroots building with the purpose of community ownership. The platform employs its own token, MAGIC, to develop its economy and game ecosystem and runs on the Ethereum scaling solution, Arbitrum.

Background

Treasure was launched in August 2021 on Ethereum as part of the Loot Project. The project later migrated to Arbitrum in October 2021, with the goal of linking and supporting communities, games, and builders. The founder of Treasure, John Patten, is joined by a team of creative and technological experts who work together to bring the platform to life.

Treasure’s token MAGIC has seen a meteoric rise in value over the last couple of months. Treasure, the metaverse-based blockchain platform, has gained significant attention for its unique approach to NFTs and the gaming experience. This article provides an in-depth overview of various games of the Treasure ecosystem, and its various components, including Bridgeworld, MAGIC, Treasure, Cartridges, Trove, and MagicSwap.

Games in the Treasure Ecosystem

Treasure currently supports 12 games, each with unique features and game mechanics. From fantasy action RPGs to world-building and exploration games, the Treasure Ecosystem has something for every type of gamer. A few of the games include:

  • The Beacon: A fantasy action roguelite RPG, where players venture into dungeons, defeat evils, and expand the Beacon’s protective light.
  • Kuroro: Kuroro Beasts is a multidimensional gaming ecosystem where trainers explore, collect, craft, battle, and master the elements in a world filled with Beasts with elemental powers.
  • Battlefly: An experimental PVP/P2E strategy auto-battler strategy game using NFT Battleflys to fight.
  • Smolverse: A fun and playful world of progressively-evolving NFTs, where players can own private homes and businesses and create a social experience for NFT enthusiasts.
  • Knights of the Ether. A Web3 deck-building roguelike. KOTE blends the strategies, aptitude, and replayability of a deck-building roguelike game with on-chain economy-based play-to-earn.

Three Layers of the Treasure Console Stack

Treasure is designed with three primary layers. The first layer is known as Cartridges, which are collections of metaverses and games created by builders using the MAGIC token. The middle layer consists of many small Communities that are individualized but all use MAGIC, similar resources, and guilds in their operations. The final layer in Treasure’s console stack is its Infrastructure, which is a powerful section of the ecosystem that features the platform’s economic engine and the resources and tools needed by builders.

Cartridges: The Foundation of the Metaverse Projects

Cartridges are developed by creators using MAGIC and are free to mint. They are all fair-launch and currently include LIFE, Smolverse, and Bridgeworld. Soon to be launched Cartridges include Battle Fly, Toadstoolz, The Beacon, and Knight of the Ether, all linked to the Treasure metaverse through their use of MAGIC.

Bridgeworld: The Heart of the Treasure Ecosystem

Bridgeworld is the central metaverse for Treasure and serves as the foundation for the platform’s economic layer and gamified infrastructure. It is the place where the economy thrives, powered by MAGIC, Treasures, and Legions. As the base-level support for the platform, Bridgeworld is the essential building block of the metaverses supported by Treasure.

MAGIC: The Fuel for the Metaverse

MAGIC is the lifeblood of the Treasure ecosystem, originating in Bridgeworld and functioning in all of the metaverses supported by Treasure. MAGIC powers the metaverses, allowing projects to connect and offer greater functionality for users. It is also the currency used for buying and selling NFTs on the Treasure marketplace, known as Trove. By offering greater decentralization and economic assets that can be used in the real world, MAGIC supports the growth of the Arbitrum blockchain.

Legions: The Key Players in Bridgeworld

Legions are the key players in Bridgeworld, represented by Treasure NFTs and comprising Auxiliary and Genesis units. Players claim quests and mine MAGIC by going on adventures, and they can also use their Treasure NFTs to upgrade their players within the game. Each Legion has individual characteristics and abilities that support different aspects of gameplay and can be increased through the acquisition of Treasures.

Treasures: The Key to Elevated Gameplay

Treasures are the resources used by Legions to elevate gameplay and for staking. They can be purchased with MAGIC and range from donkeys, god-granted favors, diamonds, and more. Treasures can be used to complete various quests and adventures, opening up greater opportunities within the metaverse.

Trove: The Marketplace for Gamified NFTs

The Treasure Trove is a specialized marketplace that operates on Arbitrum and where collectors, game players, and others can buy and sell gamified NFTs. NFT transactions can be completed with MAGIC or ETH, and as more metaverses come online, the available NFTs in the marketplace will increase substantially.

MagicSwap: The Gateway to the Cross-Game Economy

Treasure supports several games, with this number growing, and MAGIC is the unifying token that links them. MagicSwap facilitates the exchange of MAGIC for other reserve currencies used in the various games supported by Treasure. This supports the cross-game economy of Treasure and enables players to use MAGIC to participate in a growing number of games.

Wrapping up

The Treasure Ecosystem is a platform that is continuously evolving, with new projects being developed and integrated into the platform. With its focus on decentralization, community ownership, and its use of the MAGIC token, Treasure is well on its way to changing the landscape of game building. The platform provides a variety of games, making it an ideal destination for all types of gamers, whether they’re fans of action RPGs, strategy games, or world-building and exploration games.
