RPG NFT Game The Fabled Announces Next Alpha Phase

The highly-anticipated combat RPG, The Fabled, announces its next Alpha phase Slated for March 15, 2023. After recently launching its first alpha phase back in December 2022, the souls-like RPG game is back for its next phase bringing with it new content for hardcore gamers to beat.

The Fabled is an action-packed NFT game that models its difficulty after challenging games like Dark Souls and Sekiro. Set in a deep and immersive fantasy world, players can choose among a set of Fables(classes!) like Gods and Warriors to engage in a fast-paced action combat sequence that requires quick reflexes and skills.

The game launches the first phase of its alpha back in December in which it required a Mintpass and is open to those included in the whitelist. Players quickly noted its superb Unreal Engine 5 graphics and its variety of combat featuring bows, Bows one-handed swords, and two-handed swords.

Each weapon style granted its own pros and cons. Bows favored players who wanted to deal damage from afar but if you wanted close-range combat you could either use a one-handed or two-handed sword. The one-handed is much faster than the other but the two-handed deals more attack damage.

During the alpha, players finally experienced the game for the first time. The demo showcased numerous styles of combat, different types of loot, and different types of enemies such as Skeletons and Ghouls.

Final Thoughts

So far, the developers have yet to disclose the new features included for the next phase of its alpha. We may likely see new modes, new enemies, and more. The game’s whitepaper reveals many more mechanics and features that we have yet to see like a dragon mount and Guild participation.
