The Beacon's Steam and Epic Games Store Listing

The Beacon's developer, Skillcap Studio, has revealed that the web3 game will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store. This move expands the player base for the blockchain-powered game. Players may already add the game to their wishlists on both platforms, which helps increase its visibility even though the actual release date is still unknown. The Beacon's versions on the Epic Games Store and Steam differ significantly. Web3 elements will not be included in the Steam version of the game due to the platform's prohibitions against content connected to blockchain and crypto. However, the Epic Games Store makes it possible to incorporate blockchain functionality. Therefore, blockchain components like NFTs, which let players own in-game items, will be included in the Epic edition of The Beacon.
