A New Chapter for STEPN GO and AFA
It won't be long before STEPN and the Argentina Football Association release their second joint footwear line. The STEPN GO platform is the only one that will offer this launch. Golden Genesis Sneakers, which draw inspiration from Argentina's football heritage, are part of the line. It will only be available in 100 pairs. These include STEPN GO's very first Uncommon Genesis Sneakers.
The raffle mint starts on July 29 and ends on August 1. It will be hosted on MOOAR. The system uses refundable tickets. If someone doesn’t win a sneaker, their ticket will be fully refunded. Each of the four sneaker styles includes one Uncommon version. This makes the drop one of the rarest on the app.
STEPN GO will launch four themed challenges on its official X account prior to the footwear' release. Even if they choose not to join the mint, everyone is welcome to these gatherings. Two weeks will pass during the difficulties.
Football and movement are the focal points of the tasks. They encourage users to run, play, and create. The winners will receive 5,000 GMT or a golden Genesis Sneaker. A total of 20,000 GMT and four pairs of footwear will be distributed.
The topic of each challenge is unique. One of the tasks is to run a trophy-shaped GPS route. Another one asks people to juggle a ball. Players must sprint in-app utilizing Energy in order to complete one. The final task is known as 3x3x3. It stands in for Argentina's three World Cup victories. The players have to run three times in three days for three minutes each time. Move Like a Champion is the message that permeates every activity.

The same group that made STEPN also made a new lifestyle app called STEPN GO. STEPN GO is more social, whereas STEPN was primarily focused on solitary activities and token acquisition. It promotes regular exercise and social contact.
A standout feature in STEPN GO is the Haus system. This lets users share NFT sneakers and split rewards. It allows more casual players to join without needing to own sneakers. There are also PvP battles for those who want to compete and earn extra GMT.
Another fun layer is outfit crafting. Users can customize their avatar’s look using digital items. These can be traded in the app. This gives the platform a game-like feel. The focus is not just on exercise. It’s also about personal expression and staying active.
STEPN GO includes a new token called GGT (Go Game Token). Players earn it through movement and social interaction. They can also earn by joining mini-games and daily activities.
The app is designed to be beginner-friendly. New users don’t need to manage wallets or understand blockchain tools. The platform hides most of the technical steps. This makes it easy for those who are not familiar with crypto. It welcomes users who want to be part of a fun, active, and social community.
Both apps come from the same team. But they offer different experiences. STEPN is built around classic Move to Earn. You walk or run to earn GST. You collect and trade sneaker NFTs. The focus is direct rewards through motion.
STEPN GO adds social layers. Users can add friends, chat, and form teams. PvP battles and sneaker sharing remove many entry barriers. The addition of crafting and trading keeps players engaged daily.
STEPN GO is also more beginner-friendly. It doesn’t ask users to set up a wallet or handle crypto directly. This lowers the barrier for people who are new to web3 but still want to explore movement-based games.

The AFA Collaboration Returns
This new sneaker drop follows the first successful collaboration between STEPN and AFA. In the earlier release, sneakers were inspired by Argentina’s football culture. They included designs tied to historic moments and team symbols.
That drop sold out in less than a day. Genesis holders received bonus rewards. Some even got real-world items like jerseys signed by Messi and his teammates. These perks added extra value outside the app.
Now, STEPN GO continues the partnership. The new sneakers are golden, rare, and linked to a winning legacy. The addition of Uncommon Genesis Sneakers adds more excitement. The design highlights national pride and football greatness.
To join, users must register on MOOAR. The mint runs from July 29 to August 1. Tickets are refundable. If you don’t win, you get your funds back.
Winners will receive a digital Genesis Sneaker. These can be used in STEPN GO to move, compete, and unlock features. They are also tradeable.
The social challenge winners will be revealed throughout the campaign. Players should follow STEPN GO on X for updates and contest info. Whether it’s for movement, creativity, or rare prizes, the whole event is built to energize the community before the big drop.
