Spellborne’s First Major Event Is Here

Mon Studios just kicked off a big new event for Spellborne called Enchanted Guild Wars (EGW). This is the game’s first month-long competition where players can team up, hunt monsters, and earn rewards. From June 2 to July 2, guilds will compete to catch the rarest monsters and collect points. The top teams will win a share of 250,000 $BORNE tokens, which is the game’s main crypto reward.

The idea is simple. You form or join a guild, and then your group catches rare monsters using special crystals in wild battles. Each catch earns your team EGW points. The rarer the monster, the more points it brings. Monsters with over 200 innate potential give +3 bonus points. At the end of the event, the 10 guilds with the most points will share the prize pool.

Here’s how the rewards are split:

• 1st place: 75,000 $BORNE
• 2nd place: 50,000 $BORNE
• 3rd place: 35,000 $BORNE
• 4th place: 25,000 $BORNE
• 5th place: 15,000 $BORNE
• 6th to 10th place: 10,000 $BORNE each

These prizes will be distributed after the event ends. The TGE (Token Generation Event) for $BORNE is expected to happen sometime in June during the event. It will launch on Blackhole, a DEX built on Avalanche by SuperVerse, co-founded by Alex Becker and EllioTrades.

Going solo won’t work in this event. This challenge is built for groups. The more members in your guild who catch rare monsters, the better your chances of reaching the top of the leaderboard. Crystals are the key to catching monsters, so teamwork and strategy are everything.

To join the EGW event, you can either find an existing guild or start your own. Joining an active guild is the easiest way. If you want to create your own, you’ll need 400 gold nuggets and an Apartment NFT. These NFTs are available on OpenSea on the Ethereum network. Current floor price is 0.0599 ETH. Keep in mind that guild creation might be disabled temporarily. Check with the game’s Discord if you need help.

Guild Size and Crystal Battles

Each guild can have up to 50 members. You’ll need to use crystals to catch monsters during wild battles. There are four kinds of crystals: Crystal, Super Crystal, Hyper Crystal, and Prismatic Crystal. The stronger the crystal, the better your odds of catching rare monsters. You can earn crystals by completing daily missions, crafting at the Heiwa Crafting Building, or buying them with gold nuggets or compost at the Greater Market in Yorokobi Town.

To get gold nuggets, complete quests from the Task Board in Yorokobi Town. This will help you buy more crystals and gear up for monster hunting.

Spellborne is free to play. You can access it on a web browser. For Android users, the game is available on the Play Store. iOS users can play through the Safari browser until the App Store version is ready.
