Shrapnel, the innovative web3 game that's been making waves, is currently offering Extraction Packs for sale. These packs are packed with exciting goodies, including Operators, Gear packs, early access, and airdrops. With prices ranging from $20 to $100, these packs are a steal, but they won't be around for long.
Shrapnel's Extraction Packs come in three sizes: Light, Medium, and Heavy. Each size offers early game access, in-game Operators, Gear packs, Consumable packs, and the promise of future airdrops. If you opt for the Medium or Heavy Packs, you'll also receive exclusive skins, and the Heavy Pack even includes a giftable Light Extraction pack. It's a smorgasbord of benefits for gamers.
Airdrops for Operator NFT Holders
If you're among the lucky holders of Operator NFTs who linked their wallets to Shrapnel's website before October 15th, a Heavy Extraction Pack has likely been airdropped into your Shrapnel account. It's a sweet bonus for early adopters.
While players can only own one of each Extraction Pack type, they can look forward to reaping rewards from all Pack tiers. Currently, the packs cannot be opened, and gift codes remain unavailable. These features are expected to roll out as the game gets closer to its first early access playtest.
Shrapnel tantalizingly describes the Extraction Packs as having "limited availability." However, whether this pertains to a limited number of packs or a limited time frame for purchase remains uncertain. Gamers will have to keep a close eye on Shrapnel for updates.(Extraction Pack details)
Early access to Shrapnel is slated to kick off by the end of 2023, with servers open during specific time slots. The team plans to gradually increase the releases based on the early access experience, aiming for an always-on server by April 2024. Players who participate in these early access playtests can look forward to earning rewards as they contribute to the game's development.
Introducing Shrapnel: The Battlefield of Web3
Shrapnel is a mission-based first-person shooter where players become operators for various teams, tasked with collecting and extracting valuable resources from a warzone. However, intense competition from other operators adds a high-stakes element, encouraging risk-taking and rewarding player skill.
Players can customize their operators with gear that matches their playstyle. NFT equipment drops when a player dies, adding an element of looting to the gameplay. Moreover, players can gather the enigmatic Compound Sigma, fight their way to extraction spots, and aim to escape with their loot intact.
Shrapnel is deeply rooted in player-created content, from tournaments to NFTs crafted by gamers. The creativity extends to designing unique vanity items for sale to fellow players. The game offers land ownership and plans to expand creation opportunities to include player-created maps and map items.Shrapnel introduces its native token, SHRAP, which players can stake on maps they enjoy. This involvement allows players to share in the rewards from games played on those maps, while less popular maps may face a drop in reward tiers. The system incentivizes creators to refine and enhance their work to maintain their popularity in the gaming community.
