Ronin Realms Launches Closed Alpha Test

The Ronin Realms Closed Alpha Test is now available. Age of Gamers started the test phase on May 25. It will go on till June 14. Selected users can test new features, explore the game early, and get incentives like $AVAX, $RON, and special stuff during this testing period. A dancing lion mount can be obtained as one of the in-game rewards.

A number of gameplay enhancements are included in the alpha version. Players will observe a new character advancement system, PvE modes, team lobbies, and a crafting system. Players now have additional options to enjoy the core extraction mode thanks to these upgrades. Players can create groups and play together using team lobbies. This makes preparation and strategy more accessible for improved results in every game.

Players take control of the Kojin in Ronin Realms. They are a powerful and uncommon race, and they all have unique characteristics. In a single match, nine players participate in PvE and PvP combat. Collecting and carefully extracting riches is the aim. A player keeps their equipment and any tokens they have gathered, such as $AVAX or $RON, if they are successful in extracting. Players can increase their equipment using the crafting system, extending their lifespan and increasing their earnings.

Players must have a Kojin Genesis NFT in order to participate in the Closed Alpha Test. Kojin NFTs are 999 distinct. Each has a unique rarity level and is a member of one of five houses. Access is not the exclusive function of these NFTs. They also enable 3D customisation and enhance gameplay with better metrics. The Ronin blockchain powers the Mavis Market, where Kojin NFTs can be purchased. As of this writing, a Kojin's floor price is around 344.50 $RON.

Although Realms' complete version will be cross-chain accessible and free to play, only Kojin NFT holders are able to participate in the present alpha test. During this stage, only these players are eligible to receive on-chain cryptocurrency prizes. This covers in-game item drops and awards from special events.

Playtest Schedule and Rewards

Playtest sessions for the Closed Alpha Test are four. May 25 at 9 AM EST was the date of the first session. It ran for four hours or more. On May 31, the second session is scheduled. It will be the third test on June 7. At 9 AM EST on June 14, the last session will take place. There will be a minimum of four hours in each test.

There will be two prizes for players who participate in at least three sessions. A trait exchange for their Kojin NFT is one of them. An exclusive emote is the alternative. Players that continue to participate in the alpha test are awarded these goodies.

Players must go to the game's official website in order to play Realms. On May 25, the platform went live. It enables users to verify their eligibility, link their wallet, and create an account. For game downloads and updates, the website also provides connections to the official Discord server and the Epic Games Store.

Realms is currently limited to Windows. The minimal system requirements include an AMD FX-6300 or Intel Core i5-2500K, Windows 10 (64-bit), 8 GB of RAM, and a GTX 970 or RX 570 GPU. A GPU like the RTX 2060 or RX 6700 XT, 16 GB of RAM, an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel Core i7-9700K, and Windows 11 (64-bit) are the recommended specifications for enhanced performance. Players require 9 GB or more of storage. SSDs are recommended for more fluid gameplay.

For Realms, this alpha test is a significant event. While assisting the team with refining features before the final release, it allows users to experience the core game. The game combines web3 technology and classic RPG principles, with on-chain prizes and NFT support.
