What Is Legions Call in Valannia?

In the Valannia game world, Legions Call is a thrilling event that introduces six different kinds of Combat Unit NFTs. These units are necessary for gameplay in the MMORTS world of Valannia, which is powered by UE5. They are an essential component of the whole experience since players can utilize them to plan their moves and advance in the game.

According to Valannia's roadmap, this mint was first anticipated in Q3 2024. The event was postponed, though, and will now happen on November 28 at 8:00 PM UTC. The time has increased players' eagerness to improve their gameplay and fortify their forces.

For Valannia enthusiasts, Legions Call is more than just an NFT drop. It’s an opportunity to gain access to exclusive game assets that could provide a strategic edge in the immersive blockchain gaming universe.

The NFT mint revolves around two types of orbs: Tier I Orbs and Tier II Orbs. Each orb grants a random Combat Unit, but the rarity of the units depends on the orb type. Tier II Orbs are rarer, cost more, and offer a higher probability of yielding units with better rarities.

Players can access these orbs through Valannia’s official marketplace. On November 28 at 8 PM UTC, they can join Wave 1 of the mint by connecting their wallets. The 200 Tier I and 100 Tier II Orbs in this wave are available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis.

Mint prices vary across waves. Wave 1 offers a 30% discount, with Tier I Orbs priced at $24.5 and Tier II Orbs at $56. Later waves reduce the discount, increasing the cost of both types of orbs. Players seeking a more affordable option should prioritize Wave 1 to take advantage of the lower prices.

Combat Unit Details

Combat Units are central to Valannia’s gameplay. Infantry, Ranged, Tank, Cavalry, Fighter, and Colossus are the six varieties. On the battlefield, each type has a distinct function that lets players tailor their tactics.

The rarity of these units varies as well: Legendary, Mythic, Rare, Uncommon, and Common. Tier II Orbs exclude Common units, giving players a better chance of obtaining rarer and more powerful assets.

The Valannia world features eight unique races. Each race offers eight distinct Combat Units, differentiated by their names, rarities, troop points (TP), and availability. TP plays a crucial role in forming armies, as players are limited to a total of 50 TP. This encourages thoughtful decision-making and strategic planning.

The minted Combat Units can be used in Valannia Arena, a PvP game mode designed for intense player-versus-player battles. This mode will launch in closed alpha for Valannium Ring holders in Q4 2024. A full release is planned for 2025, bringing more players into the action.

Valannia Arena emphasizes strategy, challenging players to form effective armies and develop tactics tailored to their playstyles. The game mode adds an exciting layer of competition, making Combat Units even more valuable to those aiming to dominate the arena.

Beyond the Arena, Valannia’s ecosystem includes a staking system. Owners of Combat Units can send their NFTs on adventures to gather resources and level up. Players who own Origin Heroes and Heroes Beyond can already participate in Valannia Realms, a browser-based staking game. This feature allows them to collect resources and enhance their assets, preparing for future expansions.

Players can learn more about Combat Units by checking the PDF linked on the mint page. This document provides detailed information on each unit’s stats, abilities, and rarities.

For a closer look at the units in action, Valannia has released a 3D animated video showcasing their designs. The video is embedded in the announcement tweet, giving players a glimpse of what to expect during the mint.

After the mint concludes, players can buy and sell Combat Units and other assets using $SOL on Valannia’s official marketplace or Magic Eden. This ongoing marketplace activity allows players to trade and refine their armies, staying competitive in the dynamic Valannia ecosystem.
