In the world of Last Remains, equipment is more than just cosmetic; it's a key element that can modify a character's attributes, influencing your success in the game. The game's upcoming Equipment mint event promises free access to these valuable in-game items, making it an event that players won't want to miss.
The Last Remains Free Equipment Mint
Scheduled to take place from October 26th to 28th, 2023, Last Remains is gearing up for a free mint event that revolves around Equipment items. Hosted on the Polygon blockchain, this event opens the door for players to acquire and enhance their characters' gear.
The mint kicks off on October 26th, with the first round catering to those fortunate individuals on the whitelist. These privileged participants are the ones who purchased a Genesis Character Mint Pack back in May 2023. As a reward for their early support, they have the opportunity to mint up to eight equipment items for each Genesis pack they bought. However, it's worth noting that this isn't an automatic process; whitelist members will need to claim their mints.
The second round of whitelisting is limited to just 200 spots and has already been distributed to participants who excelled in various contests and quizzes. Although these spots may be claimed, it's advisable to keep an eye on Last Remains' social media channels for potential future opportunities. The second whitelist's mint event commences on October 27th.
Public Mint Opens
For those who aren't on either whitelist, there's still hope. On October 28th, the public mint event becomes available to all players. While it appears to be unlimited, there is a restriction of one equipment item per wallet, except for those on the first whitelist.
These equipment items aren't just for show; they serve a dual purpose as both cosmetic enhancements and stat boosters for your character. However, there's a twist – these items come with random positive and negative attributes. This means that players must carefully select items that align with their character's stats and playstyle, setting the stage for a dynamic secondary market.
Last Remains is a unique battle royale game set in a city overrun by zombies. Players are tasked with using stealth and strategy to navigate the 3D world while evading both the undead and other players.
Character NFTs and Genesis Character NFTs
The game introduces free-to-play characters alongside character NFTs, which serve as the gateway to the game's battle pass and are available for $30 each. These character NFTs are season-specific, allowing play during a single season, after which they can be staked in a 'Search and Rescue' game for rewards.
On the other hand, Genesis Character NFTs are limited in supply, with less than 10,000 available. These unique items act as lifetime battle passes for their owners and also offer in-game skins as perks.
As players progress, they can earn items through the battle pass system and achieve top positions on the leaderboards. Additionally, Last Remains is expected to host tournaments and various events, promising a thrilling and competitive gaming experience for all.
