Kuroro Prepares for August Beast Brawl Season

Kuroro has confirmed that the next season of Kuroro Beast Brawl will launch this August. The exact date is not yet confirmed. A detailed preview shows a strong focus on Risk to Earn mechanics. The update brings more value to competitive gameplay and changes how rewards are earned.

Beast Brawl is playable on browser, mobile PWA, and Telegram. Players can face off no matter which platform they use. This new season keeps the cross-platform setup while adding systems that connect progression to spending, strategy, and skill.

A major change is the introduction of paid competition modes. Eighty percent of all revenue from these modes will go to the Pro Leaderboard prize pool. The rest will likely support operations, though no details have been given. Players will also get a mode where they can place real money wagers. The team has not shared exactly how this will work, but future updates may bring more features around it.

Risk to Earn: Performance-Driven Rewards

The new season focuses on performance-based earnings. Players will invest Shards, energy, or real money to join the competition. Rewards depend on ranking and results. This is a shift from the standard win-to-earn approach.

All players will start the season with 5 energy. Each match uses 1 energy. This puts a natural limit on battles per session. Pro Brawlers will get extra daily energy, giving them more chances to compete. Matches reward Shards, the game’s soft currency. Wins give more Shards, and extra can be bought in bundles. Like the paid competitions, 80% of Shard spending goes to the Pro Leaderboard.

Shards can be used in the Beast Gacha. Every roll unlocks a new Beast starting at level 1 with base Skill Points. These Gacha Beasts are not NFTs and do not carry over to the next season. Players can merge duplicate Beasts to increase stats and perks. This adds variety to team setups and prevents overuse of the current meta picks.

Players who own an NFT version of a Beast will start with a Merge level 1 version of that Beast. This makes progression faster and gives collectors extra value from their onchain assets.

The referral program continues with a dedicated leaderboard tied to 1% of the total token supply. Active referrals generate a revenue share for the referrer. The team plans to make this leaderboard public for more transparency.

Before the new season begins, the team will resolve rewards from Season 1. Top performers will see their prizes increased. Players with qualifying referrals will get an Armored Beast NFT. VIP players from Kuroro Wilds will receive a higher $KURO allocation.

Buybacks are also coming. The team will purchase Origin and Gen2 Beasts from the market using project funds. These NFTs will be held or burned. Buybacks will not be announced beforehand but revealed afterward.

Earlier this year, Kuroro launched the Alpha version of Kuroro Wilds in February as part of “The Arrival” event. Over 10 million $KURO tokens were distributed through daily battles and missions. A second Wilds Alpha season planned for March was canceled due to engine issues. The team is now focused on Wilds Beta.

Other recent moves include NFT migration to Ronin, staking for Origin Beasts, and a one-day Beast Brawl Betting Event in June. All are steps toward the $KURO token rollout expected in 2025.

Final Thoughts

Alongside the Beast Brawl season launch, the team has teased updates for Kuroro Wilds, new partnerships, and Kuroro Ancients. The $KURO Token Generation Event is still set for 2025 and may come with surprise announcements.

A full game guide and final launch date will be shared soon. The August season will put Risk to Earn at the center, with Shards, Beast Gacha, NFT tie-ins, and paid leaderboards creating a stronger link between player effort and rewards.
