NetVRk's First Alpha Release: An Exciting New Adventure

The highly anticipated UE5 gaming metaverse and social virtual world, NetVRk, has officially launched its first alpha release as of October 25th. This platform is now open for everyone to explore while participating in three limited-time challenges that offer exciting NFT prizes. Players can expect a thrilling mix of social interaction, engaging games, and unique experiences as they step into this new virtual world.

NetVRk’s first alpha version is packed with features that promote social interaction. Players can use text and voice chat, along with various emotes and dance moves. If you prefer not to venture alone, you can form parties with other players, making it easier to connect and enjoy the experience together.

In addition to social features, players can immerse themselves in different interactive maps and games. The alpha version includes several entertaining options, such as a Server Room Map, a Driving Track, a jumping game called Cube, and an adventurous platformer named Aztec Jump. For those seeking a luxurious experience, Coolio’s Mansion offers a unique environment to explore, featuring an NPC named Coolio to interact with.

NFT enthusiasts will also find something special in this release. Holders of Yachts, Roadsters, and Truck NFTs can enjoy exclusive experiences within the game. Yachts can only be boarded and explored by NFT holders and their friends. Meanwhile, driving the Roadster or Truck is limited to NFT owners, but free players can navigate areas more quickly using the Buggy. NFT holders can connect up to three wallets to experience in-game NFT utility and customize their avatars.

Players can download the launcher for free from the official website to start exploring. This initial alpha phase serves as a testing ground for the login system, bug detection, and server performance. Currently, the game is only available for Windows PCs, and VR support is not included.

NetVRk's alpha release is just the beginning. The development team has two more alpha phases planned. With a smooth wallet integration and an in-game store, the second alpha phase is anticipated to launch in November 2024. This phase will also see the integration of Silk AI, enhancing player interactions with advanced AI capabilities. Players can anticipate a richer single-player experience as the AI will have its own apartment, offering a variety of activities to enjoy.

The third alpha phase is projected for Q1 2025. This phase will introduce the ecosystem’s Creation Engine, a map-making tool that enables players to create their own worlds using voxel terraforming features. Players can switch to Builder Mode to edit 3D objects in real-time, allowing friends to see creations as they develop. Additionally, Private Sessions will be introduced, letting players build on personal plots and save their progress. For ongoing updates, players can check the new roadmap that outlines milestones leading up to Q2 2025.

Engaging Alpha Challenges with NFT Rewards

Three Alpha Challenges are currently available until November 3rd, 11:59 PM PST. Each challenge offers unique opportunities for players to showcase their skills and creativity while earning NFT prizes. The challenges include the Alpha Edit Challenge, Best Gameplay Clip Challenge, and Best Picture Challenge.

In the Alpha Edit Challenge, players can create a 30-60 second gameplay video. This is an opportunity to tell a story through engaging visuals and creative editing. The top four submissions will earn different NFT prizes, such as Yacht, Truck, Roadster, and Motorbike NFTs.

The Best Gameplay Clip Challenge focuses on unedited footage, where players submit 4-30 seconds of raw gameplay. This challenge emphasizes exciting moments in the NetVRk metaverse, such as thrilling driving experiences or beautiful scenery. The top four submissions will win land of varying sizes, rewarding creativity and engagement.

For the Best Picture Challenge, players are encouraged to capture stunning screenshots of their adventures. Submissions can include exciting events, funny moments, or group shots with friends. Players should focus on lighting, composition, and angles to create memorable images. The five best images will receive avatar NFTs, enhancing players’ virtual identities.

Submission guidelines for all three challenges are straightforward. Players should post their entries on Twitter/X using the hashtag #NetVRkAlphaChallenge while including $NETVR in their post and tagging the official NetVRk profile. Participants can submit multiple entries, and judging will focus on quality, creativity, and the unique style of NetVRk.
