Fableborne Season 4 Brings New Updates
Pixion Games has revealed a series of updates for Season 4 of Fableborne, its mobile action RPG and strategy game. The studio also brought back its Dev Diary series. New updates will be shared every two weeks. Each entry will share progress, current development, and future updates. The first post gives players an overview of what’s coming in Season 4. It also teases what may be added in future seasons.
Fableborne combines fast-paced hack-and-slash RPG mechanics with base-building and raid features. The game includes both PvP and PvE gameplay. It blends competitive fighting with long-term planning. In May 2024, Fableborne went through a visual refresh. The updated look reflects its direction as a mobile-first game with strong esports vibes.
One of the biggest gameplay additions this season is the new Ability Tomes. These items let players change their hero’s abilities. That means players can adjust strategies during raids. The first batch includes Arcane Ball, Rumble, Focus Area, and Self-heal. These give players more control over how they fight and defend.
Some tomes are still in development. These include Hammer of Justice, Crossbow Turret, and Curse. It’s unclear if these will be part of Season 4 or if they’ll come later. Either way, Ability Tomes add more flexibility to the game.

Two New Heroes Join the Battle
Pixion Games has also added two new characters. The first is the Sorceress. She uses dark magic to support defensive strategies. She appeared in a recent playtest and is expected to strengthen defense-heavy teams.
The second character is the Transformer. This unit deals mid-range damage. It can teleport when near enemies. It also has healing and transformation skills. These new abilities open new options for players who like to mix offense and defense.

Introducing POWER Chests and POWER Bounties
Season 4 adds two new web3 features. These are POWER Chests and POWER Bounties. Both are part of the $POWER ecosystem. These updates connect the free-to-play model with blockchain-based features.
POWER Chests work like lootboxes. They offer rewards, including the Legendary Kingdom NFT. Pixion Games recently bought this NFT for 7140 RON on OpenSea. These chests are designed to give players special items tied to the $POWER system.
POWER Bounties add another layer to the raid experience. They offer live challenges that evolve as players progress. Finishing bounties helps fill the War Rune. Once filled, it can be cracked open for in-game rewards. More details are coming, but these features show how the game is using blockchain to deepen gameplay.

The Dev Diary also talks briefly about what’s coming next. Season 5 will introduce a new hero called Flame Fist. She is a melee fighter who uses martial arts to land combo attacks. No other details are available yet. More will be shared in future updates.
Pixion Games is also working on bigger changes to gameplay. One future feature includes moving rooms around inside your base. This gives players more control over their kingdom’s defenses. Character customization is also being developed. The team is working on letting players equip their heroes multiple times or change their appearance.
Pixion Games is using the Dev Diary series to stay connected with its player base. It gives regular updates on what’s happening now and what’s being built next. This comes after the team raised $12.4 million to support the launch of the $POWER token and other updates.
By mixing classic gameplay with blockchain features, Fableborne is becoming a unique hybrid. It attracts both crypto fans and strategy gamers. The launch date for Season 4 hasn’t been confirmed yet. More details will be shared in the next Dev Diary posts.
