New Features for Fableborne Holders Playtest
In the ever-evolving world of Web3 gaming, exciting developments are taking place. Among these, Fableborne is set to offer a unique playtest experience to its users. The Holders Playtest, open exclusively to holders of Fableborne Primordial NFTs, promises an array of new features that will leave gamers eagerly anticipating its launch.
Within this upcoming playtest, Fableborne unveils two new defense units: the Healer and the Sniper. The Healer's role is to mend nearby creatures, adding an intriguing layer of strategy to the game. This forces players to decide whether to prioritize the Healer or find ways to out damage the healing ability. Additionally, the Sniper, with its long-range attacks, becomes available at level nine, offering deadly support for players.
In this playtest, the defense AI has received significant enhancements. Gamers can expect defensive units to cooperate more effectively, providing a more challenging and engaging experience.
Introducing Nix, the New Assault Hero
Nix, a new melee hero, will be accessible to players during the Holders Playtest. Nix comes with a set of unique abilities, including a dash to engage foes and a potent AoE ability known as Tidal Pull, which draws affected enemies closer to her.
Beyond the introduction of new characters and units, the playtest brings a fresh progression system for Creatures and Buildings, along with Hero Talent mechanics and several balance adjustments. These changes promise to diversify the gaming experience, keeping players on their toes.
The Holders Playtest is scheduled to run from Wednesday, October 25, 6:00 AM CST until Friday, October 27, 6:00 AM CST. To participate, players can acquire Fableborne Primordial NFTs, which are currently available on OpenSea's Polygon network at a floor price of 52 MATIC tokens.
What is Fableborne?
Fableborne is a captivating blend of action RPG and base building, offering a play-to-own gaming experience. With its isometric viewpoint, Fableborne allows players to engage in multiplayer, asynchronous combat. Players can explore new islands, fortify their bases, and unlock and upgrade the Echoes of slumbering Heroes for resource raids.
Players start with a basic island and a common Hero, but not all resources are available from the beginning. To bolster their base, players must raid other bases and defeat PvE encounters. Echoes, the playable characters, come with a variety of skills and talents, but they fade with each defeat. However, players can rejuvenate a faded Echo, bringing it back to life with full energy while resetting its levels and talents.
Moreover, Fableborne aims to create a 'fair economy,' ensuring all players have the potential to unlock and own new heroes, although the specific mechanics remain undisclosed. The game will also feature leaderboards and regular tournaments, promising a competitive and dynamic gaming environment.
As Web3 gaming continues to advance, Fableborne's Holders Playtest is set to mark a significant milestone, introducing new dimensions to the gaming world and keeping players engaged in this exciting journey.
