Eragon has officially launched its first real-time airdrop within the beta version of its 3D metaverse, Eraverse. For a brief period of time, this event started on October 1st at 4 AM UTC. Eragon Launches Its First Real-Time Airdrop

To participate in the airdrop, first register on Eragon’s official website. You can use a Google or Apple account for this process. After registration, it’s essential to import your Eragon Citizen NFT or Eragon Passport NFT. If you don’t have either of these NFTs, you can purchase them from Wapal or BlueMove, both of which are marketplaces operating on the Aptos network. As of now, the Eragon Citizen NFTs have a lower floor price of 0.85 $APT (approximately $7.10) on Walpal, while the cheapest Eragon Passport is priced at 1 $APT (around $8.31) on BlueMove. These NFTs grant access to the beta version of Eraverse and the chance to participate in airdrops.

Once you acquire the required NFT, connect your wallet to the Eragon platform. Navigate to the Eraverse section and look for the ‘Instant Wallet’ area. Your purchased NFT should appear here. Click on the NFT and press the import button. You will see the necessary $APT for gas fees before confirming the transaction. This step sets your NFT as your in-game avatar. You can then explore the sci-fi world and join airdrop sessions.

Understanding the Airdrop Sessions

The first real-time airdrop in Eraverse features four separate sessions, each offering the chance to earn $EGON, pEGON, gift codes, and possibly even $APT tokens. Each airdrop session is limited to 30 minutes. The sessions are scheduled as follows:

• 04:00 - 04:30 UTC
• 10:00 - 10:30 UTC
• 16:00 - 16:30 UTC
• 22:00 - 22:30 UTC

At the time of writing, there are still two sessions remaining. To earn rewards, users must be active in the metaverse during these times. The excitement continues as this is the first airdrop, hinting at more future opportunities.

$EGON is the upcoming native token of the Eragon platform. It serves as the development and distribution hub for web3 mobile games. The token will have various uses, including governance and DeFi functions. Users can stake and yield farm with $EGON, and it will also facilitate voting on future proposals within the ecosystem.
