The Desolation Season 10 Brings Hellfire Challenges and Exciting Rewards

"The Hellfire Season" , the tenth season of The Desolation, is currently available. This season brings new fire-themed modifiers along with dungeon and survival rewards for the top 50 players in each category. These adjustments make adversaries more difficult to overcome by increasing their armor points (AP) by double and increasing thermal damage by 25%. In addition, players should be ready for unexpected demon encounters and the risk of adversaries bursting after death, dealing extra burn damage. Elite Hunters could sometimes appear out of nowhere, making the fight much more intense.

Players can compete for awards on the Dungeon and Survival leaderboards until August 8th, 9:45 AM UTC. Credits will be awarded to the top 50 players in each category. One Supply Box and a raffle entry for a chance to win one of four Epic Lunar Boxes will be given to the top 30 players. The Dungeon leaderboard rewards are as follows:

• 1st - 3rd Place: 1x CREPITUS GL V4 + 50,000 Credits
• 4th - 12th Place: 1x CREPITUS GL V3 + 40,000 Credits
• 13th - 50th Place: 30,000 Credits
• 1st - 30th Place: 1x Supply Box + Raffle for Epic Lunar Boxes

Survival Leaderboard Prizes

The Survival leaderboard prizes are similar to the Dungeon rewards. The top 50 players will win Credits, and the top 30 will receive 1 Supply Box and enter a raffle for Epic Lunar Boxes. The rewards are:

• 1st - 3rd Place: 1x ARX-4 + 50,000 Credits
• 4th - 12th Place: 1x ARX-3 + 40,000 Credits
• 13th - 50th Place: 30,000 Credits
• 1st - 30th Place: 1x Supply Box + Raffle for Epic Lunar Boxes

NFT Crafting in the Economy Update

NFT Crafting will debut in the massive Economy Update on August 7. Information on this new feature is available in a 9-page PDF handbook. Owners of NFTs will be able to build different NFTs and outfit their assets with in-game utility. Players that equip NFT gear will be able to obtain Transformer NFTs and Hard Currency (Platinum), with rarer NFTs having higher drop rates.Source: X
The primary Hard Currency required to create NFTs is platinum. Additionally, it can expedite the crafting process. Platinum will eventually be able to be used to buy shop deals and accelerate other aspects related to advancement. Platinum can be obtained by players via the Seasonal Leaderboard, by purchasing it from Open Loot, or by using NFTs while playing. Nevertheless, when transferring or linking accounts to Open Loot, Platinum cannot be transferred. Steam and the App Store will not sell Platinum because of its link to Big Time's platform. It is possible that additional physical cash will be added so that gamers who do not pay for in-game items can obtain them elsewhere outside the Web3.

Transformer NFTs are uncommon crafting materials that players with equipped NFTs can drop from Mystery Boxes and opponents. Though there will be a variety of Transformers to choose from, gamers can obtain Weapon Transformers during the first release. These are necessary in order to construct NFT equipment.

Players require two new NFTs (an Uncommon Transformation Workshop NFT and an Uncommon Weapon Workstation NFT) in order to unlock NFT crafting. At first, the rarity of these NFTs won't matter, but in later updates, the maximum rarity of created NFTs will be linked to rarity. A Rare Workshop, for instance, can only be used with Rare Workstations or lower.

Crafting NFT Gear

Players can access a new workshop room on the ship using a Transformation Workshop NFT and unlock a Workstation with a Weapon Workstation NFT. To craft NFT gear, players will need a Weapon Transformer NFT, Platinum, and a Weapon Set #1 Blueprint. The available blueprint, dropped by Seasonal Bosses, allows crafting of four NFT weapons:

• Uncommon Shotgun: 2000 Total Mints
• Rare SMG: 1000 Total Mints
• Epic AR: 500 Total Mints
• Legendary MR: 200 Total Mints

Crafting an Uncommon Weapon requires one blueprint and 100 Platinum. Higher rarities require more blueprints and Platinum.

Players can earn Workstations, Workshops, Weapon Transformers, and Platinum from requisition boxes. A total of 50,000 requisition boxes will be given out via community events and seasonal challenge mode. Drops from this mode will be rare.

Mystery Boxes and Reward Tiers

Each month, a certain number of Mystery Boxes will be airdropped to eligible players. Rewards depend on the NFTs owned, with Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic assets awarding varying amounts of Reward Tier Points. Players active in seasons and those in the top 20 on the leaderboard will also earn Tier Points. There are five Reward Tiers, with Tier 1 featuring no airdrop. Higher tiers offer better rewards:

• Tier 5: 3 Mystery Boxes, Guaranteed Airdrop
• Tier 4: 2 Mystery Boxes, High Airdrop Chance
• Tier 3: 1 Mystery Box, Medium Airdrop Chance
• Tier 2: 1 Mystery Box, Low Airdrop Chance
• Tier 1: No Airdrops
