Heroes of Mavia Web Ruby Marketplace

Skrice Studios has announced the launch of the Web Ruby Marketplace for their mobile strategy game, Heroes of Mavia. Powered by Base, this browser-based marketplace allows players to trade in-game assets. Players can use Ruby for transactions, with future integration of $MAVIA tokens planned. This new feature follows the release of the in-game Ruby Marketplace earlier this year.

How the Web Ruby Marketplace Works

The Web Ruby Marketplace allows users to trade in-game items, such as skins and decorations, using Ruby or $MAVIA tokens. Players can link their external wallet address to their in-game profile, enabling cross-platform support. The marketplace shows various stats, including top owners, total volume, and owner distribution. A player’s portfolio value combines their Ruby balance with the value of owned items.

This launch also begins the Community Stress Test phase, where players can trade using only Ruby. The $MAVIA token will be integrated in November after live environment testing is completed. Once integrated, players can trade both Ruby and $MAVIA, using the token for additional functionalities.

To celebrate the Web Ruby Marketplace’s early release, Skrice Studios has launched a 1 million Ruby reward pool. For the first 30 days, 100 transactions will be randomly selected daily, rewarding both buyers and sellers with 150 Ruby. At the end of this period, 300 transactions will receive an additional share of 100k Ruby.

Following the marketplace launch, Skrice Studios will continue to improve the Ruby economy. October will bring Mavia Land NFT integration and the introduction of a new hero, Warlord, which will impact the Ranked and Ruby battles. In November, the $MAVIA token and Ruby Exchange will be integrated into the marketplace, followed by a new NFT mint and the Ice Bomb Trap.

December will see the release of Headquarters 9 and a new NFT Crafting feature, with more details to come. The marketplace will also be updated with the Arbitrage Tool to enhance trading. Plans for Q1 and Q2 2025 include significant updates for both players and traders.
