Bandai Namco Launches NFT Pet Game "RYUZO"

Bandai Namco, a leading games publisher in the gaming industry, has taken a significant stride into the world of blockchain gaming with the introduction of RYUZO, an AI-powered virtual pet NFT game.

This groundbreaking venture comes to fruition through the collaboration between Bandai Namco and Oasys, a gaming-centric blockchain network. The game promises an immersive experience with a series of NFT-based digital creatures known as RYU, offering players an exciting and innovative take on virtual pet interactions.

The inception of RYUZO came with the distribution of 10,000 digital NFT eggs, called MARYU, to holders of Oasys' first series of NFTs in the "Oasyx" project. This strategic airdrop laid the foundation for a captivating journey of raising and nurturing these unique digital creatures. 

Similar to iconic pet-themed games such as Pokemon and Tamagotchi, web3 game developers recognize the value of this genre through the release of similar titles such as Defimons and Crypto Unicorns.
