Axie Infinity Unveils Major Achievements and New Features in June

Axie Infinity successfully released the iOS version of the game in both LATAM and Asia. This new version enables players to utilize their own NFT (non-fungible token) Axies to participate in Origins or engage in battles using upgradable starter Axies in Adventure and Arena modes. Remarkably, this marks the first time Apple has allowed third-party apps on their devices to utilize externally-purchased NFTs. The iOS launch opens up new possibilities and avenues for players to enjoy the Axie Infinity experience.

Launch of Mavis Market on Ronin

Simultaneously, Axie Infinity introduced Mavis Market, its very first generalized NFT marketplace, on the Ronin network. Developers now have the opportunity to distribute their NFT collections on Ronin using RON, the primary currency. The marketplace incorporates the Katana DEX platform, allowing users to conduct transactions using various swap currencies such as AXS, WETH, and USDC for RON. With the establishment of the Mavis Market, infinite gaming experiences on Ronin are expected to flourish. To inaugurate the marketplace, two NFTs were listed: Axie DoLL Sidekicks and AxieChat Premium 2023 NFTs.

Axie Avatar Forge Enhances Digital Identification

In an effort to improve digital identification within the game, Axie Infinity launched the Axie Avatar Forge. This new feature empowers users to forge unique and customizable avatars using their Axies. Recognizing the significance of avatars as digital identities, the team behind Axie Infinity aims to streamline the distribution of Axie PFPs (profile pictures). Furthermore, the integration of Axie lore with Origins gameplay led to the introduction of Atia's Blessing on the App.axie platform. This addition enhances the Mooonshard percentage that players receive after achieving victory in Ranked Battles within Origins.

Enhancements and Events in June

During Origins Season 4, Axie Infinity increased the speed of Arena Mode animations by 1.35x, offering players a more dynamic and engaging experience. The team also refined their Blitz Mode, a game session that provides faster gameplay. Additionally, the month of June witnessed the inaugural Filipino Fiesta: Fortune Chest contest and the commencement of Axie Infinity: Homeland Alpha Season 2. Notably, players can now send spies to inspect the plots owned by other landowners, adding a new layer of interaction and strategy to the game.
