The creators of Axie Infinity have announced a new game in the franchise, Axie Infinity: Atia’s Legacy. This massively multiplayer online (MMO) game is now open for playtest signups, giving players the chance to earn crypto and NFTs by referring friends.

Atia’s Legacy takes players into the world of Lunacia, where they can lead a team of up to four Axie monsters. The game takes place in a world that has been devastated by decades of conflict and features farming, combat, and quests. As they go, players will discover hidden secrets and explore ancient ruins. After production started in May 2024, Atia's Legacy is expected to undergo its first alpha playtest in the summer of 2025. The Axie Infinity team said they were happy and likened this to the company's early years in 2018. In order to create an engaging experience, the makers regard this game as a significant advancement that combines new ideas with historical events. Many players collected NFT characters, battling each other and even making a living from the game. Players are advised to register for the playtest in advance. Referrals who use their pre-registration link will be eligible to win Axie NFTs through lottery tickets. The top 200 referrers will receive a total of almost $90,000, or 25,000 AXS.
