From November 8th to November 12th, players can access Farm Royale, a new PvP mini-game where they compete to collect in-game currency known as SHARDs. In Farm Royale, the setting is Moonfrost’s familiar pixelated world, but the objective is all about competition. Players work to collect resources and grow crops before depositing these in Deposit Chests scattered across the game map. Each chest asks for a specific resource or crop, with varying amounts that reflect a scoring strategy. Points are awarded based on item quality, meaning players have to choose which resources to prioritize for the best outcome. With each deposit, players build their score and compete to stay ahead of others on the leaderboard.

To help increase their score, players can use an in-game tool called the Earthquaker, which can smash open chests for even greater point rewards. Using the Earthquaker requires Biofuel, which players can replenish by collecting items from Supply Chests around the game map. Each player receives 10 entry tickets every 24 hours to participate, resetting each midnight UTC. Players who hold the Frost-Hunter (FHA) License Holder role on Discord enjoy a slight advantage, receiving two extra tickets per day along with a small rewards multiplier, creating an added edge while keeping a balance to allow fair chances for all players.

SHARDs play a central role in Moonfrost’s gaming economy, acting as a unique currency with future integration planned for $FROST, the game’s anticipated core token. While details on SHARDs’ connection to $FROST are still in development, SHARDs are already critical for unlocking Moonfrost’s future web3 experiences. How to Join Farm Royale

For players already active in the Moonfrost universe, joining Farm Royale is simple. Players can press L to open the leaderboard tab, then select the Activate option to enter the PvP mini-game. Additionally, Farm Royale can be accessed through a chicken statue in The Village or via the right side of the in-game interface. New players eager to join this playtest can sign up on the official Moonfrost website. After creating a game account with an email address, they should expect a playtest code within 24 hours. Once received, the code can be redeemed on the Epic Games Store. Moonfrost is compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems.
