Evolving your NFT gives a cosmetic upgrade. If staked before the deadline, it also earns $MON rewards. Originally set to end on February 26th, the deadline has been extended to February 28th at 11 AM UTC+1. Future evolution events are uncertain, so interested holders should act fast.

How Pixelmon NFT Can Advance From E2 to E3

To evolve an E2 NFT, it must be staked first. If not already staked, do so for Hunting Season 6 by accessing the official NFT staking section.

Next, you need an E3 Serum. This is a consumable item that burns upon use. You only need one E3 Serum per E2 NFT. These serums are available on OpenSea and Magic Eden via Ethereum. As of now, the floor price on both platforms is 0.99 ETH.

With an E2 NFT staked and an E3 Serum in your wallet, go to the official Evolve page linked in X and Discord announcements. Connect your wallet, choose the E2 NFT you want to evolve, and click "Evolve NFT." Confirm the transaction and pay the gas fee. The process is instant.

If evolving multiple E2 NFTs, select them all and confirm the transaction in one go. Expect higher gas fees in this case, as noted in the Discord announcement and the official Gitbook page.

Once the process is complete, the used E3 Serum(s) will be burned, and the E3 NFT(s) will be minted directly to your wallet. Your E2 NFT(s) will remain staked.

Staking is required to earn $MON rewards. After evolution, manually stake the E3 NFT by clicking "Stake E3 Pixelmon" and confirm the transaction with gas fees. Do this before February 28th to qualify for rewards.

The NFT Staking page displays how much $MON is allocated to the E3 NFT. Check the official token allocation page for accumulation details per rarity. The Hunting Seasons dashboard may not show the numbers immediately but should update by the end of the month.

If you own an E1 NFT, it cannot be evolved to E3. The E2 supply is finalized, so only existing E2 NFTs are eligible for E3 evolution.
