Treasure DAO has launched a new feature that lets users bring their NFTs to life. The AI Agent Creator is now available on the Treasure Marketplace. It lets holders of certain NFTs give their digital characters personalities and abilities. These NFTs can now chat, move on their own in games, and even perform tasks. This is one of Treasure’s biggest moves into AI technology. It builds on earlier releases like AI Smols in Gigaverse, which helped test the idea.

The AI Agent Creator is easy to use. NFT holders just pick an eligible NFT, pay a small fee of 0.0025 ETH (about $4–$5), and set the agent’s personality. Once set up, the NFT becomes more than a static picture. It can talk with users right on the marketplace. If users want more features like gameplay or social media activity, they can add more $MAGIC. This token powers the agent’s extra actions. The whole system runs on Treasure’s own Neurochimp AI model.

At launch, the tool supports five major NFT collections. These are Bored Ape Yacht Club, Pudgy Penguins, Azuki, Meebits, and Milady. These are well-known names in the NFT world. Treasure DAO picked them to show the tool’s power and draw in active communities. More collections will be added later. This helps keep the system growing while making sure everything runs smoothly in the early stages.

To activate and run the AI agent, users need $MAGIC. The starting amount is 10 $MAGIC, which costs around $1.60. This token unlocks different features based on how the user sets up the agent. The agent can chat, join Gigaverse role-playing games, and will soon post on social media platforms like X. More features are on the way. Before this full launch, Treasure tested the idea with AI Smols in April 2024. Users could pick an AI Smol and send it into Gigaverse. These agents needed regular help from users to stay active. The AI Agent Creator is the next step, designed for more powerful NFTs and deeper experiences.

This launch comes at a time when Treasure DAO is changing direction. Earlier in the year, the team said they were spending too much and could run out of stablecoins by year’s end. To deal with this, Treasure cut back. They shut down some projects like the Treasure Chain and outside game development. Staff numbers were also reduced. From there, they started focusing only on what worked best—like the marketplace, Smolworld, Bridgeworld, and scalable AI tools.
