Pirate Nation is an on-chain pirate-themed RPG game played on Arbitrum Nova. It offers players an exciting high seas adventure where they can collect materials for crafting, treasures, and pirate gold., which uses a revolutionary approach to gaming on blockchain. Mainly cross-chain (ETH-Arbitrum Nova) and entirely gassless (no fees) to the gamer. Just hook in your wallet; sign on with an email; and you are off to play. All transactions are entirely on-chain and gas is paid for by the company. The game is in it's first year 2023 and is expected to change drastically over the years.
How many Pirate Nation NFT are there?
To develop the island, players will need to participate in sea battles to steal materials from other warships. To participate in this battle, players are required to own 2 types of NFTs:
- Pirates: is the key to participating in the game, you need at least 1 Pirate to participate in the game, the current Pirate selling places are Opensea, Trove, Blur.
- Ships: Pirates need more Ships to open up other elements in the game. Without ships, it will be difficult for you to play. You can create Ships in the game and use them to participate in other activities. To be able to create a Ship you need to complete the missions "Prepare to Disembark I" and "Prepare to Disembark II" to receive Skiff Plans.
Each Ship will be able to control 1 Pirates with different equipment and are divided into many types of Ships such as:
- Pirate's Skiff: A ship that is seaworthy and cannot be sold to others.
- Pirate's Sloop: An agile ship but weak attack ability.
- Pirate's Galleon: Strong and sturdy. A must have for any fleet.
- Pirate's Frigate: The heart of any fleet and a true powerhouse on the high seas.
- Rogue's Galleon: An upgraded Galleon is dropped on the Pirate Nation OG. Only 90 pieces available.
Ships have different numbers of slots to equip items, depending on the type of Ship. Equipped items affect Cards in combat.
Who are the developers of Pirate Nation?
Pirate Nation was developed by Proof of Play studio with team members who have many years of gaming experience. At the same time, the studio is a group that has participated and developed major games at Epic Games, Blizzard, Riot Games, Zynga, Disney and Scopely.
In the team, there are two co-founders, Amitt (Lead Developer) and Craig (Art Director), who developed the games FarmVille and Madden with a brand of more than $1B. Additionally, the team has worked at major Web2 companies such as Google, Square, Apple, and Facebook.
How does Pirate Nation work?
Island construction:

- In addition, players can upgrade equipment as well as create new equipment to help upgrade their Ships to be stronger. Item rarity is also divided into levels and has greater power for items with high rarity.
World Bosses:
- This will be the final part in this entire game, World Bosses is considered a big event for all players. If you defeat or achieve high rankings in the Bosses destruction event, players will receive many great rewards.
- Bosses in the game are also inspired by legendary monsters in the ocean such as Megalodon, Sea Serpent, Kraken, etc. The most special point in this event is that the last player to destroy the Bosses will receive the only rare NFT of the Bosses they defeated.
Pirate Nation Gameplay Overview
Questing, combat, and defeating bosses are at the heart of Pirate Nation gameplay. Players can engage with an early version of the questing system during the beta phase, allowing their pirates to gain XP, gold, and resources. Completing advanced quests unlocks even more advanced quests and rewards. Some quests can only be done once every few hours or days and offer generous rewards.
Combat in Pirate Nation involves selecting the right attack to inflict the most damage on enemies. The beta phase focuses on Player vs Environment combat, with Player vs Player combat coming later. Players can coordinate to defeat massive creatures that spawn occasionally, with the player who lands the killing blow receiving a rare, one-of-a-kind NFT.
