Yuga Labs Rewards Team Glacia with Exclusive Winged Helmet NFT for Winning The Otherside Metaverse Second Trip

Yuga Labs has recently announced the highly-anticipated NFT prize for the undisputed winner of the mini-game during the Otherside Metaverse Second Trip.

Team Glacia, led by team captain Jimmy Wong, emerged as the winner of The Otherside Metaverse Second Trip, a team-based metaverse experience for otherdeed holders created by Yuga Labs. 

As a reward for their victory, the team will receive an exclusive Winged Helmet NFT, a cosmetic enhancement that can be equipped on their Voyager avatars. The color of the helmet sports the winning team's color, blue, and has a futuristic winged appearance, similar to the Otherside's otherworldly theme.

Players who will receive this NFT can use it during future Otherside events, allowing them to show off their cosmetics as a memento for their achievement and as a piece of stylish headwear.

The Otherside Metaverse Second Trip was Yuga Lab's second metaverse experience for otherdeed holders. However, unlike the first trip, the second trip featured an exciting team-based minigame.

The game featured up to four teams, each with its own team captain and color. The team captains were Jimmy Wong, Brycent, Lowbellie, and Champ Medici. The goal for each team was to collect as many magic blobs as possible to feed the magic toad.

Players were assigned a team at random and the game led users to two new maps to experience. Team Glacia was declared the winner at the Boneyard since they collected the most blobs.

The Winged Helmets will be on the blockchain as an ERC-115 token and will only be subjected to personal use only. The cosmetic cannot be commercialized, according to a press release by Yuga Labs. 

A Winged Helmet is currently listed on OpenSea and at the time of this writing, is selling for 0.319 ETH which is worth roughly $594 currently.
