Over the course of last weekend, 7,200 voyagers embarked on The Otherside journey, joining forces with other players to explore new dimensions and competed against each other with fun team-based games.

What’s The Otherside Second Trip?
The Otherside Second Trip is an immersive experience that combines the best of the metaverse in a unique team-based objective experience. It’s a journey that takes you through different dimensions, where you’ll encounter a new world along with friends and Yuga Lab’s icons.
The Otherside First Trip saw over 4,500 Otherdeed holers which was considered to be a massive success because it saw 2,560 hosted live stream views and garnered much attention for its first metaverse event. Players were able to get together virtually for the first time and fought against a boss battle. However, the second trip had other plans in store for its players.
The Second Trip featured new character skins, new mechanics as well as a game that puts players into 1 of four teams with each team having a team captain.
When was the event?
The Otherside Second Trip was scheduled on March 25, 2023. It was first teased roughly three months ago, with a visual trailer showcasing the Boneyard area and what else lies within.
In early March, the Second Trip was officially announced but without a final date. But it was revealed later on as the date approached closer.
Where did it take place?
Just like the first event, the Otherside Second Trip was a purely online experience. Players joined in by logging in before the event took place.
Players were brought into empty space to try out mechanics, and ancient maps while accomplishing a team mission, and Boneland where they met an uninvited guest that looks like a serpent-like creature.
Who joined?
The event is open to Otherdeed holders but now with an added visitor. The Second Trip allows holders to invite an additional guest through its guest pass, provided the slots haven’t been filled yet.

The team games featured four iconic guests who served as each team captains: Jimmy Wong, Brycent, Lowbellie, and Champ Medici. Each person was a team caption of a specific color and the goal was to collect as many magic blobs as possible to feed the magic toad.
As reported by some users, not every player was on board the challenge, as some players were not bent on winning but were simply exploring the locations. Ultimately, the winner was Team Blue, or Jimmy Wong’s team

The Otherside Second Trip had limited slots. For players to join, they needed to be: Otherdeed holders, have purchased NFTs from Bored Ape Yacht Club and were one of the invited guests from one of the holders.
